Excellent. 2 workers came out, installed the new coil, filled the Freon up and made sure the unit worked before they left.

I obtained estimates from three different local companies and Arthur Hagar's was the lowest price of the three. All the companies were A rated by Trane. George Sullivan was the sales representative that worked with me for this installation. and while all three companies' representatives knew what they were doing, he seemed the most knowledgeable about the systems. He carefully reviewed my old system, listened to my thoughts and ideas about what I wanted from my new system, and came up with a very good set up at an acceptable price. He also didn't make any attempts to talk me into any pricey add-ons or upgrades, which I always appreciate. The crew that installed the system arrived exactly on time and were polite and very professional. They worked hard all day removing the old system and setting up the new one. They weren't bothered by any of the questions I had and didn't seem bothered when I'd come around and watch what they were doing. The system is running great and the comfort factor of the house is much better. It's like a different house! These guys were great to work with and I wish all the house projects I've had done in the past had been done by professional people like this.

The technician arrived within the 8 hour window that I was given and completed the preseason heater tune-up in a professional way and took the Angie's List coupon that I presented him with no problems.

They came out very quickly and were very professional. They installed the system within three days. They installers were awesome. I shopped around and their prices were very competitive.

I own several rental properties in the metroplex. 2 years ago 1 of them needed a new heat pump unit. without any problem, Arthur Hagar took my $5000 and installed an entire new unit, I never met them, never saw the unit, but my renters did and were happy... Fast forward 2 years, My property manager called them because the renters were having a problem, they informed my property manager, that my renters would have to pay when they arrived (which will never happen) or I would have to be there to give them the $. Now they had no problem at all taking $5k 2 years earlier and installing a unit (they installed then billed me a week later) but they need me there to pay for an $87 service call... I spoke to the person on the phone, they checked with supervisor, and sure enough, I had to pay when they arrived. I own many properties in DFW, I cant deal with this kind of horrible customer service. I called my new go-to guy Dan and he was out there and at half the price and never would ask me or renters to pay when he arrived. I have too many properties all spread out to deal with this. Arthur Hagar you certainly lost out on about 100k in business over the next 10 years over a $87 service call (which I would have paid if you billed me)

I have been repairing my units every year for the past 4 years spending around $400/year on repairs and freon replacement. My electric bills in July and August were $800 and we were still not comfortable. I called 4 Angie's list contractors and got estimates. I learned a lot from each of them about SEEr and Tonnage and design. I down selected two final and negotiated the best price based on the features I thought were important. I went with Arthur Hagler. George Sullivan was the salesman and he knew the most about HVAC. He was very professional and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wound up with 2 Train 14 and 18 Seer system with a smartphone connected thermostats. I paid a little over 15k. The installers were very friendly and professional. I am totally happy with every aspect of my purchase.

When the Service rep came out, he went in the attic, quickly ran his tests, and brought me pictures of the damaged parts. Explained to me what he did to make sure we had air, and also to make sure the system wasn't pulling as much electricity because of the burnt control panel. Service guy was courteous, prompt, professional, and detailed. I felt comfortable, and they were so honest, it prompted me to have them check the coils another provider said needed replacement. He checked the coils for leaks, confirmed there were none, and that probably some freon had naturally been lost over time from the system. Was happy with their honesty, professionalism, and courtesy. The responsiveness was good, although we did have to call to find out when they would come back, however, they did answer, and returned the call promptly away to let us know when they would come. Overall an A, it was a great experience.

I’ve been using them for twelve years since I’ve moved into my home. They are perfect and provide great service. I use the same people who install the appliances in my home as they know the appliance.

They have done heating and air conditioning for us for sixteen years. I have always found that they are very available, if you've got a problem they make a real effort to get out quickly. They don't try to sell you things you don't need.

I went on Angies List and purchased a coupon offer for $175 for Seasonal Furnace AND A/C Tune-Ups. On 5/9/2013 a technician from Arthur Hagar A/C and Heating came out and checked and serviced my A/C unit. He did a wonderful job and even was very patient with my 3 Chihuahuas and my 3 foster Chihuahuas! Then today, Jun 18, 2013, I was talking with my daughter and mentioned the above service on my a/c unit. I was so surprised when she told me that is the company she is using on her A/C unit. Then she told me that ten years ago, when she had them repair the unit, that I was living with her temporarily. She further said that I had been the one who was at home during the repair. She said that I had a lot of praise for the workmen, their work and behavior. But even after she mentioned the incident, my ever-aging memory cells could not pull up even a vague memory of it. Isn't it a weird coincidence that, after all this time, I would call the very same company to work on my A/C unit?

It was good. It was a warranty work. They showed up on time and they cleaned up after the job. They did a good work with no complaints. Somebody have to come back and fix a little problem that they caused.

We contacted Arthur Hagar to replace the original HVAC system in a house built in 1985. We chose them because their sticker was on the furnace when we purchased the home in 1990. Chase came to our house the next day, and after going over our options, we made an appointment for the installation of a heat pump system. Chase was very polite, knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the different systems to us. The installation was quick and efficient. The men placed plastic on the floor to protect the carpet and took great care not to damage the walls as they worked in a closet in the hallway. They were extremely polite and even took the time to make friends with our dog who was not happy to have them in the house. The cost was as quoted and they were in and out in less than 5 hours. We highly recommend Arthur Hagar. The new system cut our summer electric bill in half!

When I first called, the salesman I spoke with was extremely nice. I told him our problem, that we'd already had another company diagnose our problem (needed whole new system) and given us a quote, and I wanted to see what they had to offer in brand and price. He spent nearly 30 minutes with me on the phone explaining the different types of systems and what I needed. The next day he came out to do a consultation and see our existing system, and spent another 45 minutes with me explaining what we had, how it worked, and what he recommended. Then he left me with a folder with brochures of the products they sell and his business card. I felt like he took a lot of time to educate me and do a thorough evaluation of our needs, and I greatly appreciated that. In his evaluation he asked about the comfort of each room, and I explained that one of our bedrooms was always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. He looked and saw that the vent was installed in the wrong place in the room, was facing the wrong way, and the duct was attached at the wrong place on the air handler. He also saw that we only had 1 return air vent in the house, and that we needed a second one to make our system run properly. He worked up a complete quote and emailed it to me later that day. Even though the price was higher than the first company quoted, we chose Arthur Hagar because we felt like we were getting a better product and felt more certain that it would be installed properly. They also offered multiple financing options. The system was installed a couple of days later and works great!

The installation was completed in a day, as promised. We did have a couple of installation issues that were resolved. Overall a positive experience and I wouls recommend Hagar and will use them again.

Our old AC went completely out and we decided to call Arthur Hagar AC / Heating since they had serviced our old one. They scheduled us for the very next day with Ken. He was promptly on time, clean, courteous, and we were very impressed on how knowledgeable he was on what type of complete system we needed and the cost quoted was very reasonable. The two gentlemen that came out to install the unit were very clean, courteous, and prompt. They arrived early and went right to work and install only took a few hours. After only two days since the installation, we have already recommended Arthur Hagar AC / Heating to several people and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs AC or Heating needs.

We needed a new ac/heat system. Survey on Monday, with options by the end of the day. Called in decision early Tuesday, installation schedules for Wednesday. Installation required more bracing in the attic and a move of the thermostat. It took the installers 12 hours to complete the job. No loud calling back and forth, no music, just quiet competence. Arthur Hagar scheduled the city inspection at a time of my convenience, which the equipment/installation passed without problem. This company is worth the money for the installers alone. Very fast delivery in August, system down for a minimum length of time. I do not hesitate to recommend these people to friends and family.

From the start the techs and sales people could not have been better people to work with. Everything was completed on the time schedule they said it would. All the mess from the removal and install were removed and the operation of the system was fully explained. Financing was arranged thru Wells Fargo with 3yrs. same as cash. There was also an Angies list members discount and the price of the last service call was also credited back to me. I also was able to purchase a 10 year parts and labor warranty at an extremely attractive rate. Finally the service contract I had on the old unit was transferred to the new system without cost. I would not hesitate to continue to use this company or recommend them for any type of heating or air conditioning repair or installation.

Technicians arrived promptly early in the morning on a day that the temperature got to 104 degrees. The work was completed just after lunch and the AC was back up and running before the heat of the day. The guys did a great job, cleaned up everything and hauled away the old system. Very friendly and professional. They took some extra time to show me how the thermostat operates and how to change out the furnace filter.
