Arthur Hagar A/C & Heating

I called Arthur Hager in August of 2021 about a noise coming from the attic. The technician came out and claimed that my filter needed to be changed. I change my filters every three months but this is what he told my wife. I called them later that year in November because my house was not heating and technician came out and told me it was my blower motor and the warranty went out in October and it would be 1,100.00 dollars to fix it and now it is June 29th 2022 and the fan motor just went out on the AC unit and the house built in 2016. If you getting a house built please do not use this AC company.

Had an issue with my less than three year old system freezing up. Since Arthur Hagar was the installer, i called them to repair my unit. The technician(David) came out to troubleshoot the issue. I was at work so my wife was there to meet him. I told the tech that it was iced up which usually means its low on Freon from a leak. The tech spent a few minutes looking outside but found no leak. He stated the capacitor was bad and charged me to replace and put in a pound of Freon. First, i'm not sure how a unit can ice over with a bad capacitor. Second, he told me wife if it happened again, he would come right over and fix it. Well, 2 weeks later it stopped cooling just as before. I called Arthur Hagar again on Thursday only to be told let couldn't get to me for 5 days. Even though my wife was talked into signing a service agreement two weeks prior. This caused me to call another contractor in who came the same day to repair my system. The other contractor found the leak within 10 minutes and got my system running. I called Arthur Hagar to speak with them about this. I have left multiple messages for Brett the manager but cannot get a return phone call. Please consider this before using this company.

Great! This company is very professional and they are very competent.

Install itself was almost flawless. They were quick and clean. They couldn't get my Nest Thermostat to work, it looks like there was an issue with the base. Wondering if the base was the issue the whole time. :-( Since they offered a new thermostat with install, it wasn't a total loss. They did send someone out to try and fix the Nest but the person spent a minimal amount of effort and bad-mouthed the product the whole time. I don't know why they are listed as a Nest Pro contractor if they are so disappointed with it. Also, there were a few minor promises not kept. 1) "I see hail strikes on your other unit. I have someone I've worked with who has gotten those covered under insurance claims, along with the roof. Do you mind if I pass your name along?" - never got a call back 2) "Sure I can email you those serial numbers for the warranty." no email after about a month now 3) "I'll be back today with the financing paperwork." He showed up a week later after I called and reminded the receptionist. Nothing that directly impacted their work, but I do see a pattern.

They're the only heating and ac company I will call. They treat you well, they are punctual and prompt.

It was excellent.  The gentleman who did the work was friendly and very competent.  We will definitely use this very professional company again.

It went well enough.

Great. The tech checked our air conditioner and although it is older it is not in need of replacement, especially with a builder grade air conditioner. They also gave advice as to air duct cleaning and we have scheduled a time for them to come and check what is needed to our entire system instead of just air duct cleaning.

So he came out to do the service on the unit, he basically told me that I would need to purchase a whole new unit or a heating pump. So then he made a call to his co-worker and found out the price was $7,000 and he kept pushing that he could get that financed. He put the Freon  in the system. It was not very helpful and he did not give other options.  He would talk over me and would not let me finish very aggressive.
