They're very good.  Very professional.  They use certified Arborhists. I think tree trimmers as a whole are expensive.  I've heard people complain about their prices, but it's worth it.  Trees are dangerous.  I would think their prices are fair.

I really have come to love this place. It is not as inexpensive as some of the other nurseries in my area, but their stock always outperforms everybody else's in my yard. I know they are particular about carrying things which are meant to thrive in our region, and I certainly appreciate that. They also have a nice selection of native species that I have trouble finding other places, and the staff is helpful. Just overall a great garden store with a great family owned business feel.

I have used Archie's for almost thirty years.  I have always been very satisfied.  Very professional company with a arborist on staff.  I would not use a tree trimming company that did not employ an arborist.   The person who does my trimming has done so for all of these years.  This says a lot about the employee practices of this company.   They are a little higher in price than others but it is worth the money paid.

They have been okay and my impression of the store is good. There is nothing about this company that is exceptional or exceptionally negative. Their location was fine for where I was living at the time of my purchase. Their environment is fine.

Front of residence: extensive general trim of large live oak; removed and cut flush a medium height smoke tree; trimmed storm damage to a pistachio tree. Back of residence: removed 2 large dead river birch branches, trimmed two large river birches; removed  2 dead l-gustrums and all deadwood in the area; cut branches of two Japanese maple trees away from roof of house; trimmed and raised height of several mature crepe myrtles.  Work performed competently, quickly, efficiently. Clean up was complete and meticulous.  Supervisor: Chancy plus four assistants.  I have utilized Archie's Gardenland beginning 1993.  Archie's is probably not the lowest cost service provider available, however, I have found Archie's Gardenland to be consistently competent, efficient, reliable and honest.  I trust Archie's Gardenland. Over the years with several projects completed by Archie's at my residence, I have confidence that an excellent job will be done--consistent quality, reliable.  Getth Nelson is the Tree Department Manager who replaced Archie's arborist Carol.  He is competent, honest and straightforward and I look forward to working with him in the future should I require tree service in the future.

These guys are professionals who have advised me on plants, trees, and pesticides. If you want professionals who will stand by their word go see them.

This is an outstanding garden shop / landscaping center.  They offer professional advice and take the time to listen to what you  need or how to care for your yard / gardens.  They listened to what kind of yard I had - and carefully steered me away from tropical plants that were not appropriate.    They workers not only carried my plants to my car, but carefully spread plastic sheets down in the car before placing the plants in.   I will be returning here again - their plants, especially all the roses were very healthy and all have grown well.  At other large garden centers or discount stores - the roses are diseased and dying already before they are even sold. At Archie's they are all well cared for.

My overall experience with them has been excellent. They've been very professional and timely. They've cleaned up very well. I have no complaints at all. I will continue to call them to do my tree work. I was fine with their price. They're a good local company.

Everything has been fine. They have been here for a long time and I have used them many times. I have always been satisfied with them.

They have good quality plants and feeds.  The people are knowledgable and the customer service is excellent.  We have been going to them for years as they are close to our home and it is convenient.

We started by visiting the store in person (a fantastic storefront staffed with helpful employees) and met with a landscape designer.  We worked out a plan we were happy with, chose our plants, and the work was performed.  We were initially completely happy with everything, except that we'd made an error in judgment or two in what we thought would look good - our fault, obviously.   I hate the necessity for landscaping, and the fact that you have to spend money on something that is impermanent, has to be maintained and could die.  Archie's helped take most of the sting out of that unpleasantness for me. 

Archies was professional, on time and had one of the hardest working crews I've ever seen. A rainy spring didn't help, but we love the results, and they'll be even better next year. I've been going to Archies on and off for the 30 years I've been in Fort Worth, and that was very important to us. We've done projects with other firms and the results have been ok to mixed, but the people and the companies are gone. Sometimes within 12 months. We wanted someone to go back to. If you're looking for a low bid, they're not the company to call, but if you want quality work and service backed by a strong guarantee I'd highly recommend them.

Their service was excellent. They were very responsive when it came to evaluating the problem and responding to our queries. They did the trimming and the extra work on the sick tree. I felt that the price was reasonable. I give them all A's for their service.

THE PEOPLE AT ARCHIE'S GARDENLAND REALLY KNOW THEIR TREES. THEIR RESPONSE WAS TIMELY AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB. MY TREE LOOKED MUCH BETTER WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED. IT LOOKED NATURAL AND DID NOT LOOK 'BUTCHERED'. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I KNEW I WANTED THE LIMBS OFF THE ROOF BUT I ASKED THE ARBORIST ABOUT SOME OTHER THINGS AND HER ADVICE WAS EXPERT AND HELPFUL. THE CREW WAS PROMPT, NEAT, AND THE RESULT WAS A MUCH BETTER LOOKING YARD. THEY BRING THEIR OWN CHIPPER.
