American Windows of DFW

John Lisby met with my wife and I at our home to discuss what style and type of replacement window we were interested in.   We looked at some samples and our meeting only lasted about an hour. We felt well informed about what we were buying and how the windows would perform.  We were told told the windows would take about 2 weeks to arrive after being ordered. They were right on time. John called to schedule a day to install them when one of us could be at home.  The crew showed up with the windows at 9:00 as promised.  They took great care in tarping the inside and outside of the house where the new windows were to be installed. The entire project took about 6 hours to complete. Scott demonstrated how the windows operated and how to remove and replace the screens if needed. My wife was very pleased with how clean the installers worked. You could never tell that a major project had been completed other than the appearance of our new windows. We do have a very nicely landscaped yard and flowerbeds and were expecting a small amount of incidental damage, but you would never have guessed the work had taken place. Everything, inside and out, looked the same as when they started.  Things could not have gone smoother. Now we are ready for next summer to roll around so we can experience our energy efficient windows at work.  We can not recommend American Windows and John and his crew highly enough.

Read so many horror stories about different window companies and installers so my wife and I went into this very cautious and found that both Pella and their recommended window installer, American Windows of DFW, were outstanding. Time is the true measure of quality, of course, but in terms of our front-end experience with both the product and installers, we couldn't be happier. It's nice to know there are still some manufacturers and contractors out there who are customer centric.
