"When i diagnosed the restriction in the condenser filter dryer i told [member name removed] the dryer is there for the purpose of catching debris from the compressor that is the only thing in the refrigerant system that has moving parts. I also told her the risk of possible failure of the compressor. i told her it didn’t happen often ,but it had happened before.that we repaired a restriction and the compressor failed a short time after.but she accepted the risk. The next day around 7 pm she texted me that it had stopped cooling. I told her I would be there first thing the next morning and the compressor was locked up. I offered to replace the condenser for 1100.00 since the original price for the condenser was 2700.00 I thought it would help her. She wasn’t upset she didn’t complain she said she understood but just didn’t have the money to replace the unit at first and still didn’t. But she went strait to the bank put a stop payment on her check. This is the same thing as ordering dinner eating and then deciding that you should have ordered something else so you just don’t pay for your meal. Having told [member name removed] the situation and her stopping payment on her check I did have my attorney send her a letter demanding payment for the work I had done. She agreed to and allowed me to work on her system. She took money and time from me and now is stating that I am the person that did not do the right thing. i will let you be the judge but i did everything and more to protect this client and take care of what she asked of me."
"[member name removed], I don’t remember servicing your system but $33.00 dollars a pound at that time was if nothing else reasonable. You always have the right to say no to any repair. Additionally, I don't set pricing due to customer complaining. First thing, I have never offered 3 pounds for $99.00. Your system is a sealed system and should not need refrigerant unless there is a leak. You add refrigerant because it’s leaking so the amount you need is determined buy the size of the leak not based on an annual 3 pounds. Second, refrigerant prices fluctuate constantly and so does our price. Last but not least, I have been in business 26 years and can count the number of complaints on one hand. I do not add Freon to systems in an annual check- up unless there is a leak. I do service your neighbor having looked up your address and have never had a complaint. Please check your records as there are plenty of companies out there that do in fact offer 3 pounds for a set price, I am not one of them. This is my company, my name is Kelly Freeman and if that is not the name on the ticket I would ask that you take this up with them. While I appreciate any feedback, I can assure you this was not me. Last, I am not trying to be the cheapest; I stand behind the work that I do and most importantly I value my clients. Should you have further questions or concerns regarding these comments, I would be happy to discuss them with you."
It's not that they provided bad service. It just seems they cut corners and finally tried to sell me an overpriced unit and add-ons. I don't think I could recommend them at this point.
"I Believe the member has the wrong company, We dont service Rockwall and never have in 25 years. May need to check records ,and get facts strait."
We gave him our address and he said he would call us when he was on his way.
Not only did he call us as promised, but it is 3:00 pm and the unit is fixed and he is gone.
We found him to be friendly and up front about what he was doing for us.
I would definitely call him again.
