 + -1 moreIn his estimate, Otha figured 33 sheets which is about right including some green board for around the shower. I when he came over to do the estimate I told him we wanted a smooth finish for paint. The next day he gave the estimate & said they don't do install for just paint they only texture & he wouldn't want to be liable for a smooth finish & he apologized. Otha also said that the only way to get a smooth finish for painting was to "slick finish by gluing the sheets on" and he doesn't do that. Since this is a bathroom, I will be using satin finish, so shouldn't be a problem if not perfect. I have seen plenty of companies who screw in drywall and then paint. This doesn't make sense to me. The information on their company says they texture only occasionally. Seems like I am getting different information. The estimate was for $1500. Which seems excessive since the old drywall is removed. I don't think I would recommend them to a friend, since I have no experience with their work. In summation, do not call if you want to paint over drywall.
Description of Work: Did not perform services. Came out to do estimate. Estimated 2 rooms, one ceiling in one room, and walls only on 2nd room. Old sheet rock already removed. Install, tape, bed & sand for paint. He was nice enough, but I gave him a C for mixed communication and high price.

 + -1 moreIF I WERE BUILDING A NEW HOME, I WOULD SEEK THEIR SERVICES.
Description of Work: I CALLED TO REQUEST AN ESTIMATE TO INSTALL DRYWALL IN A SMALL AREA, AND LEARNED THE COMPANY ONLY SERVICES NEW CONSTRUCTION. HOWEVER, MY CALL WAS RETURNED PROMPTLY AND I WAS REFERRED TO ONE OF THEIR SUB-CONTRACTORS.
