They were great.  They are open 24 hours, plus we can use their services in any of their buildings.  I would recommend them.

They are a good gym which is well kept and clean.  They have plenty of equipment and the pool is properly maintained.  They also have a lot of different classes long with physical trainers.

In late 2010 I purchased a year long membership with 24 hour fitness for $249.99. After taxes it came to $278. This was perfect because my employer would reimburse me for a $250 annual health club membership.
The fitness center looked great at first. It had a lot of modern equipment and even offered exercise classes.
First of all lets talk about the equipment. It works great and they have everything you need except they are packed after and before normal work hours. It is difficult to get on a piece of equipment. It seems the company will give memberships to as many people are willing to pay for one with no regard to how many people are signed up for their facility.
The majority of the exercise classes are offered during the day... Dont most people work during the day? I guess these are mainly intended for stay at home moms.
The trainers main goal ,it seems, is to sell you supplements and not actually train you.
All that aside they do have good equipment and I used their gym for a few months. Thats when I was activated by my guard unit and I had to leave for a year. When I come home my membership has been expired for a few months. No big deal, I just went to renew it , the only thing is that they have increased their rates by over $100 for a year! How can they justify a rate increase of $100 in one years time? So I was going to go ahead and go through with it but when i got to the part where I add my wife on to the account it wanted an extra $30 for her membership $299 + tax for mine and $329 plus tax for hers. For an initiation fee... It would be cheaper for me just to buy two separate memberships then to buy them together as a pack.. I dont see why the increase in prices and as far as I can tell no actual increase in value. Ill pass on this place and just try the local Y down the the street.

n 2005, I payed nearly 1500 down in order to become a lifetime member of this gym. In my original contract, there is no information pertaining to when my annual fee must be paid. It simply states "annual fee." Apparently, this company has created new rules and now they will not honor my contract. They use bait and switch tactics and then they breach their own contracts with you. Be aware of this company. Find another fitness facility. Managers at this location simply told me that they could not do anything for me. He simply stated, we do not honor those contracts any longer.

I printed out the pass to use the fitness center off of the Internet. I put on my exercise clothes and went over to the location that I chose from the website. When I arrived at 24 Hour Fitness they were open and people were coming and going. I presented my pass that I had printed out from the Internet, but the person at the front desk would not allow me to use the facility with the free trial because I arrived too late in the day even though they were open--9:15 p.m. She said that the pass was only valid for the times of 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. There was no such stipulation clearly printed on my pass. When I arrived home, I looked at the website. A similar time frame that the receptionist mentioned (the website said 8 a.m. rather than 9 a.m.) was written in very fine print on one step of the process of registering for the pass. The times were not at all clearly identifiable since I carefully looked over the pass and the information on the website to check for any restrictions on the pass. I would not recommend this business for two reasons. One is their inflexibility. The other is the practice of hiding important information in very, very fine print that was not clearly identifiable even when I was expressly looking for the information.
