They originally came out on May 20th when my husband's office was heating up and he and I both figured it would take a couple days before they would be out. But not Sherrell. They offered to come out that same day (after 5) and I said "GREAT" He diagnosed the problem, put in the new motor and everything seemed to be working fine, till today, May 28th. I came home, parked my car in the garage and as I was unloading stuff, I heard a dreaded noise from the ACs. I immediately suspected the worst, shut the thing off and called Sherrell again. He got here in about 15 minutes. I really got lucky. Tim said he was in the area. Anyway, it took him about 45 minutes to diagnose the fact that the motor was a bad one. So, he put in a new one, and hopefully there will be no more issues!  He is a very nice, no nonsense guy and I would definitely call them again for any future issues.

Awesome experience. We woke  up this morning to no air conditioning. First I got I went to Angie's list and found this company. Then at 9:00am I called them. Their guy Juan was at our house by 10:30am. He was done by 12:00 noon. My air conditioner is running great which is a good thing because it is already 93 outside.



I was very impressed by the receptionist at the company who was very friendly. The service person was very nice and polite. He explained carefully what was wrong and what had to be done and what else should be done. That was nice, to have a choice on how much I was willing to spend.



One again Angie's list led me to a great company.

Three years later, one of teh units has ruined our Kitchen ceiling form leaking. Sherrell AC would always blame a clogged drain. the drain may be clogged, but why did this NEVER happen withour old unit Sherrell? Mout plumber came out, and installed a "P" Trap in the drain lines and properly tilted the auxiliary drain pan towards the drain....here is my point, What kind of inexperienced technicians do they hire? Would thi snot be part of the original installation. Last fall, they came out to do a fall (Winter Tune up and cleaning) of our furnaces (original with the house) and tried to charge us $250.00 for the traps in the drain lines. I explained that Sherrell AC orioginally instaleld our AC, why weren;t these installed then. My plumber did it right for a fraction of that price.....our  kitchen has to be repaired now the second time due to an improper installatino of the drain pan under the coil. It was level and over-flowing onto the ceiling. So to answer the questions "How did it go"? Not very good when three years later, we are still dealing with problems due to a poor install, The first install problems were discovered only a few months after the units were put in and the third guy they sent out was astonished at the problems I found. The coil was not level, and was draining back into the auxiliary drain pan on ine unit. And the drain lines were connected in reverse. (Wrong). IT took me asking our HVAC peiople where I work what to look for and discover myself to get it fixed right. So, I guess you get what you pay for in the industry...Their price seemd fair up front, but the problems continue to mount.

Came on time and was very polite. Drained the line of freeon.  Removed old coil and installed new coil.  Had to modify the condensation drain and then cleaned the area.

I called Sherrell AC & Heating because one of our air conditioning units was no longer cooling. The tech was friendly and very professional. He located the problem in a short amount of time and corrected the issue. We would highly recommend them to anyone who asks. I'd also like to mention that the price we paid not only includes the service call, but an annual maintenance contract as well.

Our home warranty company sent them out. We had two other companies out and they were the only one to be able to diagnose and fix the problem. We were really, really happy with them. We have continued to use them on a regular basis whenever we've had an issue. It was through our home warranty company so we don't know how their prices are. The man was very thorough.

I was impressed with them. They did a good job. I would definitely use them again. They came when they said they would come and they did the work they said they would do. It was under my warranty company. I even called them when I switched warranty companies to ask their advice. They were good about providing that information. The price was fine because I had the home warranty.  They talked to me and they were responsive when I called and asked them a question. They were very professional.

On June 29, 2012 Sherrell came out through American Home Shield and found that we had a bad relay on the control board on our 17 year old heater and replaced it. On July 12, 2012 the unit went out again, and this time the blower motor was bad. They ordered the part and replaced the blower on July 18, 2012. They did an excellent job fixing our old heaters. They did recommend that we consider replacing the units and gave us a very competitve bid.  We opted not to replace the units at that time.They were always on time for the repairs and did very professional work. I would certainly recommend Sherrell Air Conditioning & Heating. They're an excellent company.

I liked the technicians that they sent out.  They've all been very personable and seemed to be very knowledgeable.  They were honest.  They told me things that needed to be fixed and also told me some of things didn't needed to be fixed.  I've always had good work from them.  Usually when I've called, they've been out within twenty four to forty eight hours.  My stuff has never been an emergency.  They respond quickly.  They've always called me to tell they are coming and given me a time frame.  They show up when they say they are going to show up.  I've been real happy with them.

Steve Sherrell came out to do the estimate.  He listened to our expectations and came up with a plan to meet those expectations at a reasonable price.  We then waited for cooler weather before the installation.  Installation was on a Saturday, which was a plus for us.  The workers were professional and did a good job installing the system.  One of the installers showed us how to use the new thermostat.  When we started to have cold weather, we had someone come out to make some adjustments to make it warmer and give us a little more instruction on the thermostat.  The new system is great.  It is so quiet compared to our old one.

We are actually under a warranty. They incorrectly diagnosed the problem in their initial visit, but when I called them back, they sent out a more experienced technician who actually found the problem right away. The good thing about it is that they were willing to take care of the problem, but if we had followed the first technician’s recommendation, we would have ended up spending way more money in handling something that I believe would not have helped much. The second technician that came out was a very experienced guy. He had been with Sherrell for a long time, and to me, he recognized that the reason why our system was not cooling at the rental house was because the intake was completely clogged. The first guy recommended that we replace the lines because he thought it was leaking; he heard air from outside. Actually that was not what was happening. What was happening was that the air conditioning system could not suck in air at all because the grate was totally clogged with dust and dirt. It had nothing to do with the filter because the filter was clean and nil. You cannot see that the grate had dirt behind it unless you remove it completely. So, when we removed it; we found that the entire thing was clogged and no air could get through it. The sound that we heard outside was actually air being sucked in from outside because it could not get air from inside the house. The second guy identified it, and he did not charge us anything for it. The second guy was pretty thorough. They were on time, and the second guy was by far really professional.

Get price, great installers & follow-up. I have used these guys for several years to do A/C & Heating repairs & upgrades. I have always been pleased with the price and the service. ALWAYS calls before coming, and arrives promptly. I would highly recommend. No high pressure sales job, just great service at a reasonable price. No job too big or small. I called another company here in Forney for a small job (adding a return vent and additional AC vent) and could never get them to return my call. That is when I started using Sherrell and have been ever since.

The technicians were very courteous and professional.  We asked them to take lots of pictures of the repair work since we will have to go to mediation with the seller of the property to have this bill reimbursed to us.  The happily obliged.  I am very pleased with the work they performed and now we have a working air conditioner just in time for summer.

The technician arrived on time and was extermely professional.  He isnpected our AC and heating units and made recommendations based on the age of the house.  We had some repairs to a valve done and the price was quoted at $400.00.  When the work and labor turned out to be higher they stuck to their original quote.  We were extremely pleased with the work. This is the second time we have used Sherrell and we will be using them again.
