When it was completely dry - about 3 or 4 days later - the technician removed the equipment, replaced the baseboard, put the furniture back in place, and even vacuumed the carpet. The representatives in the office & the technicians couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would call them again in a minute.

Where to begin..called them out after 10pm to help out with the washing machine flood.  Came out and estimated the damage.  We were told we needed to put down half of the estimate before the work could be started--I know, sounds bad, but when you are ankle deep in water and scared of damage getting worse + mold setting in----I didn't feel like I had time to call around for more estimates, so knowing it was not the smartest move, I went ahead and paid $500.  Another guy came out a couple hours later and sucked up a little water, cut out the carpet pad, pulled off all the baseboards, and set up a lot of fans and 2 huge dehumidifiers (we were told by first guy that we only needed one of those since the area wasn't very large, but I guess you can charge more for 2, right?)  Seemed very thorough. We were originally told we would probably have 3 days of this, but after 1 1/2 days, the guy came and checked it out and said it was dry and removed the stuff. Ater he had taken down everything, he got a call and went in my bedroom ( part of the flood area was in there) to talk on his phone--I felt like he was trying to get somewhere to talk privately to whomever he was talking to!!   Hello-can you go to your truck and not hang out in my room to talk so I won't hear you???? i mean, I really got the feeling he was getting away from me to talk alone.  Also, he was chatty as he left and started to tell me about a suicide that they were called out to clean up!!!!!!!  I really don't want to hear this stuff, and feel like it was way unprofessional. The price for this was very confusing because the original estimate didn't include the carpet cleaning ect,so either we were confused or they weren't clear.  The final bill turned out to be $1400, but after refusing to let them clean the carpet and whatever they do, and reminding them that it was not 3 days, it was lowered to a little over $1000.  Now we are in the process of filing an insurance claim on this and needed them to give us an itemized bill to give to the insurance company and after 2 days of trying to get this, all they sent us was the original estimate for 3 days, and they sent an email saying "here is the estimate, but we lowered the price to $1000."  I'm pretty sure my ins company won't take this because they didn't send a true breakdown of what happened and for how many days.  How hard is it to email out an itemized bill?!

Having said that, we do need to know when someone is not satisfied or upset with our work. On every job that SERVPRO works on, we are required to ask the customer to fill out a C.O.S. ( Certificate of Satisfaction ). This is done at the end of the job to show that the customer was satisfied with the work that was done on the customers property. On our C.O.S. we were given a perfect 100% for the entire job. Below are the actual questions and scores from the customers survey. Again, we hate knowing anyone is upset with us but if we do not know that you are upset, we cant fix it. 1. I was impressed by the SERVPRO Franchise's on - site personnel that performed services at my residence or place of business. 10 - Strongly Agree 6. I would use the SERVPRO Franchise who assisted me during this loss for future cleaning and / or restoration needs. 10 - Strongly Agree 7. WE USED THEM ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND WERE PLEASED BOTH TIMES. THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF RESTORATION AFTER THE FIRE AND THE FLOOD. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, THEY WORKED WITH ME ON THE BILLING.
