When roof was completed by RBC, I noticed that the shingles covering the ridge vent were not put on correctly, which I reported. Someone fixed them, so aesthetically they looked correct. Since then it has been brought to my attention by Terminix, because I rarely go into attics, that there’s an inordinate amount of leaves and buds gathering up there on floor directly below the ridge vent. Obviously, that should not happen. Because we have gas central heating units up there as well as gas water heaters, that could become a fire hazard, not to mention obvious easy access for insects. I talked to Albert Bennett, who said he would follow up with me, but he has not, and he won’t return my phone calls, texts or emails.
