LENNAR HOMES

It was great.

We started our home search in October 2014. We selected Lennar as our builder in December and signed with them in December. Our initial completion date for our house was end of August. Home completed built was October 16th. Between weather and difficulty in obtaining permits, we did not move-in until Halloween, October 31, 2015, a full three months further along than when we had wanted to. While this isn't entirely Lennar's fault, they had data regarding how long it was taking them to get permits and they could have given us a more accurate estimate at the time we signed. While I say they can't predict the weather, they know that December to August, they're going to have weather, you got to build weather days in the estimate. Knowing what the weather's been like for the last couple of years, being crazy, you think they'd build that into the estimate. Their estimate was complete pie in the sky.
