K&R Windows and Doors

Description of Work: We just had a Provia Door installed by K&R Windows and door and were very pleased by the service. we of course negotiated the price and with any door and window company you should too. We supplied our own locks which brought the cost down and just asked for the best deal we could make and they delivered. We shopped around and were looking for security as our neighborhood has gone much less secure in the past 10 years.We bought a steel door and steel frame and it came with reinforced plates that makes it difficult to break in. It gets really hot on the outside of the pre- painted door but is seriously less hot than our last fiberglass door was and more secure. I think it will save a lot of cooling cost. The workers and sales people are excellent good people to work with and they know what they are doing and why. In fact they offered to get our locks keyed to the same key at the home depot as that is a free service and it is better not to carry an extra key. I could find doors that need painting but the cost of that was really high for a < 1 hour job. ~ $259 - $400 of fluff. It is not art it is a door. Provia doors are IMO after researching the best security door for the cost.. You can find really thin steel doors at places like lowes and home depot but maybe not half as thick as our door. To match you would need to go to Purvia or "Max something" which is maybe 10x more expensive. It will not be too long that you will need to be more secure in your home as government cost go extremely high due to government worker's pension cost and the deficit of all cities, states and government and all three will be forced to lay off workers IMO it is better to buy now than then as the price may be much higher due to supply and demand.
