Mitch and Stacy Hawkins, a father/son team, are the owners of the business and they were directly involved in every aspect of the work. Mitch prepared the estimate for the work and provided a detailed explanation of the processes they would follow to repair the damage to the roof, gutters, window screens, and vinyl siding to my home caused by a severe hail storm. Mitch is very knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained the scope of the work and the time involved to complete the various tasks on the estimate. The crew arrived at about 7:30 AM on the day they were scheduled to begin and immediately set to work. By 8:45 PM on the evening of the same day, removal of the existing roof and the installation of the new roof was substantially complete. Materials arrived just in time to begin shingling, and there was not a single delay due to an absence of materials or a lack of equipment. The work was expertly planned and coordinated so that no time was wasted.
Repair and installation required for the completion of the remainder of the work was just as efficiently and professionally accomplished by the Hawkins or by a sub contractor under their direction. All work was completed in a timely and professional manner. Their attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding.
In addition to their workmanship, I appreciated the payment schedule. Unlike fly by night tradespeople and some roofers, payment for the job was due when completed to my satisfaction. Hawkins Roofing and Gutters offers superb workmanship backed up by the integrity of their business practices.
