This was a large outdoor project and it went well despite the 104+ degree temps. We could not have asked for a more patient contractor whom was open to changes and made some good suggestions. Definitely keeping Mark's number handy for future needs.

The project went very well. It took somewhat longer than originally anticipated due to the difficulty in removing the wallpaper that had been in place since 1981. Mark is a genuine pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him for any handyman project, in fact, I have already asked him to return to install two shower doors.

Mark Gunderson, contractor, phoned me immediately after receiving my inquiry through Angie's List contact. He came the next day to review my request and needs and provided me with a list of needed materials for projects. He asked me exactly what preferences I had for type of materials to be used, i.e., nails or screws, treated wood or not, and all materials would be painted color agreed upon. He then gave me a quote for materials needed and labor costs. Mr. Gunderson explained that he was on a job and would be there another day. We agreed upon start date and he arrived daily when stated, and he exhibited great carpenter construction skills and abilities.

Wonderful - Mark was great - he arrived everyday on time and went promptly to work. He cleaned up everyday so we could still live in the house while he was working. He did a great job. Very professional. He "guestimated" how much paint I needed to buy and was spot on. He even rearranged his schedule to get our job done before the new carpet was delivered.

Kitchen and Bath were remodeled to my complete satisfaction and within budget. I even threw him a few curves when I added a window replacement, 120 lb sink, over sink lighting, and water filtration system to the original scope of work. Mr. Gunderson was professional and polite, on time each day, cleaned-up well each day, and communicated regularly with me about what was going on throughout the project. Of course, with an older home there can be unforeseen issues such as ancient plumbing. But this was no problem for Mark; he called in an associate plumber and got things done right without me having to worry about it. Mr. Gunderson replaced or added tile in both the kitchen and bath along with replacing fixtures and appliances - and everything looks fabulous! He did a great job on my home both inside and out - bringing my vision for the kitchen and bath to life!

Mark did awesome! I had been left high and dry by a previous painter, and was scrambling to find someone that could help me out at a moment's notice. I spoke with Mark, and he said he was nearby and could stop in. I told him about the predicament, and he was more then willing to help. He stopped by, took a look at the work, gave us a bid, and said he could start immediately, and work through 7pm that night. He did GREAT work, and was super friendly and professional. He worked with us for two days getting things ready, and even stopped by the next day to check in and see how things were going. Mark is a great guy, very easy going, good around my dogs, and great with my kiddos - he even sampled my youngest's chocolate experiment she had whipped up! I will definitely be calling Mark again, and recommend him to everyone!

Mark did a great job - was very responsive to my request for quote. His price was fair, his quality and attention to detail was great. He kept me updated on his progress since I was out of town for much of the project. When finished, he cleaned everything up and the house looks great. I plan on hiring him to build a shade awning on my house and other projects in the future as well. Would recommend him to my friends!

Mark came out to give us an estimate and was very flexible with time, which was great due to my wife and I working later hours. He was upfront and honest with his quote, letting us know it was a bit more work than he originally expected based on the pictures sent to him, and gave us a very fair price for the amount of work he was taking on. After accepting the offer and accepting the contract, he got to work the very next morning. He took two days to finish the project and the result clearly showed how skillful Mark is and how serious he is about his work. I would highly recommend Father and Sons Construction to anyone looking to get some work done for a great price, with great quality.

The service was great. He is reliable, shows up when he says and gets the work done. There was total of three different people that came out and it took two to three days to complete it. I would say that he does good work and he should get top stars for that, the only thing is that his prices a bit high.

Mark and his daughter were professional and on time every day. They did a wonderful job painting our entire home,master bed room, small bathroom, and front door.
