Our Skylight was blown off of our roof and we were in a panic. The weather forecast rain and we were very concerned, first about the possible damage, and, second, how much it would cost. I went to Angie's list and found Brett Foster and he responded immediately! and the cost was very reasonable! Arrived as scheduled and made the repairs quickly. Will definitely recommend his services!

Bret Foster Roofing is a company you can trust to give you a quality roof at a fair price. Bret's attention to detail is clearly spelled out. Here are a few examples: he installs lead (not plastic) stack flashings, a high-profile ridge, double coverage in valleys, and uses 6 nails per shingle. At the end of the job, I asked Bret about replacing shingles that might blow away. Of course, they would take care of that, but he said it just doesn't happen with his roofs. That says it all! By the way the install went well, the men cleaned up well and we are very happy with our new roof.

Very well. An insurance adjuster determined that I needed a full roof replacement because of wind and hail damage. Due to spring storms in the area, all reputable roofers including Mr. Foster were very busy during June this year. When I first contacted the company via e mail I received a prompt response that indicated that Mr. Foster would not be able to give me a bid for a few days. When he was able to come out, he was exactly on time. He is most polite and professional. After the visit, he provided two bids the next day via e mail. One was for replacement with standard 30 year shingles and the second was for replacement with impact resistant long life shingles at a higher price. I elected to go with the impact resistant shingles since my insurance company offers a substantial premium discount. Mr. Foster originally estimated a start time from 4 to 6 weeks out. Since my roof, though damaged, was not leaking, this was fine with me. To my pleasant surprise Mr. Foster called about 2 weeks later to say that he could work us in. His 4 man crew arrived early on the day specified and proceeded with the job. They were also polite and professional. The crew worked very long hours and took few breaks for the two and one half days that the install required. All debris was removed at completion. We are very pleased with the appearance of our new roof as the crew not only replaced all the shingles they also replaced or painted existing vents, pipes etc. All in all it is a great job!

Mr. Foster examined our roof, told us what the repairs would cost and gave us a date for the service.  The work was done just as we had agreed.  Excellent workmanship and clean up.  Will definitely use again.

I had planned to use a contractor who had done previous work for me. But he took almost 3 weeks to update his initial estimate. While I was waiting I contacted Bret Foster Roofing and got a much more responsive and professional contractor. Bret responded to my request for an estimate within a day or two, then provided a written estimate the next morning. The estimate was detailed and provided multiple options and costs. One of the most important items in his estimate that no other contractor had mentioned was a note that if Class 4 shingles were used, my insurance company may provide a policy discount. I called my insurance company and for my policy, using Class 4 shingles would get me a 25% discount. That was enough to pay for the additional cost of the shingles in 3-4 years. With that information, other positive reviews on Angie's List, and Bret being a small local contractor I decided he would be best for the job. The work was completed in a timely manner with quality workmanship. All questions and contacts I had with Bret during the process were taken care of promptly.

It went extremely well.  Finished roofing the house in approx. 1 day and 3 hrs.  Workers were pleasant and worked -- didn't sit/stand around doing nothing.  Cleaned up well -- swept and/or blew dust; picked up any pieces of old material that had fallen on the ground.

They did a great job.  We have nothing negative to say about Bret Foster Roofing, Inc. and/or his employees.

Called Bret to get an estimate for a small repair job.  I was not home when he came out to view the repair, but he emailed me a quote and I called and scheduled the repair to be done.  When the repair was completed on June 2nd, I was not home again.  I was very pleased with the work - they did a great job of matching the shingles.  I thought he had a lot of trust on his behalf since I never actually met him.  I would absolutely call them again.  Thanks!
