The structural work done by Wyndham Construction Company was amazing. Some neighbors have had to have similar work done and our house is the only one where you can't tell there was ever a problem. The mortar matches and the bricks match and there is no longer a sag over the door or any cracks.
The bathroom restoration work has been similarly amazing. Other companies began the work and it would be a stretch to give them a C. Bath Planet tore out the old shower and tub but made costly mistakes putting in the walls for the shower and then tried to recover by putting in cheap beadboard that looked like laminated cardboard in order to recover the cost. The man who built the vanity did a beautiful job. He is a wonderful cabinet maker. BUT, when he tore out the old vanity and started installing the new one he began beating holes in the wall where he was going to put electrical boxes. The man helping him had built a horse barn and they acted like our house was a horse barn. We had another interuption due to record rains in the first 6 months in north Texas. And this man would never answer his phone any more or return our calls. That turned out to be a good thing for us.
This is the point where we asked Robert if he would correct all of this mess and finish the bathroom up for us. He agreed and we would be willing to give tours of the final results if we could stand all the traffic. It is showroom quality now. But the rest of the house is not ready for tours.
We have used 6 or 8 contractors during the restoration of two bathrooms and a powder room. We have been thanking God every day since they are finished since we are blessed to have them turn out so beautiful.
However, I repeat, the other contractors do not deserve more than a C and most of it is due to incompetence. I am careful due mainly because I have a touch of OCD. However, I remember 50 years ago there were many trades people who had pride in their work and took great care to make sure you got quality for your money. Wyndham Construction Company still believes in those principles of fairness, honesty and quality!

We could NOT be happier.

Fitting our new electric double oven into the space, our old gas single oven had been, required quite a lot of work and adjustments. Including capping the gas line, running a new electric line, cutting into and then repairing the ceiling in several spots and capentry work to change cabinet it was built into. A few issues came up (as will on all projects) and Mr. Windham and his crew were very helpful in presenting solutions and helping me make choices that would work the best. I'm very pleased with the results. We planned to touch up and reseal our cabinets, but changed our minds on the day of, and decided to paint them instead. It was no problem to change our minds and they turned out beautifully. All the crews that worked on our project were very professional and knowledgeable and very good about taking care of our house and property and cleaning up after their work was done. I would be happy to hire them again!

They have done work for me about 2 or 3 times. Everything went on fine and I didn't have any problems. I knew who they were and their professionalism as well as communication, has been fine with no issues. The price was good and the quality of work was fine. I will use them again in the future.

The contractor was fine but you had to check each days work to be sure it was done right. If it wasn't, we just told them and they would correct the problem. They really needed to have a supervisor with them all the time.
