We found her on Angie's List. She charges $20 a day for 4 cats. She is dependable, and she cares about the animals and remembers them. We always use her, and we have been using her since 2013. She does a great job. When we first met her, she came out right when she said she was going to.

We have utilized the services of Katrina's Vis-A-Pet company for years. She is always compassionate, on time and my dogs absolutely love her. Dependable and prices are great for the loving, compassionate care your pet receives. Would not consider a vacation without her to care for or back up our pets which include 4 dogs and a parakeet. I don't know how she does it with the huge clientele list she has - but I believe it is because of her great love for animals that they always have her utmost concern and care in mind. Her opinions are valuable and we are glad she voices them.

Absolutely the best!  Our cats just adored Katrina right out of the gate.  She has a fabulous way with animals of all kinds and offers a full range of home and pet sitting services while you're away/unable.  Can't recommend her enough, she provides complete peace of mind while you're on vacation.  Will definitely be using her again.

FANTASTIC! Katrina was so professional, so caring and communicative. We have 2 older cats that are much loved and do not do well with strangers.  Chester and Rodney were well cared for, the mail was picked up, the plants were watered and any messes the boys made were cleaned up.  Katrina even went out and purchased a nine volt battery when the smoke detector started beeping so as to not upset the boys. She sent photos of the cats and sent me text updates.
I will most definitely be using her as my "go to" pet sitter! Chester and Rodney give her two paws up!  If you want peace of mind while out of town call VIS-A-PET!

Katrina was great from the first visit on!  She took the time to let my cats get to know her well. She took in and remembered every detail I gave her about my boys ! She was awesome to text and call to let me know how they were doing . When I returned home both of my cats were relaxed and at ease which doesn't normally happen when I have been away. I can tell they were at ease and well taken care of  with Katrina.  I highly recommend her !!

So glad to have found Katrina! We have always felt tied down with 5 cats (2 are my daughters, you know how that goes) too expensive to board and felt guilty asking friends for more than 2days. Such a relief to have her come and take great care of our kitties, now we can plan more trips! I've been telling everyone about her.

We could not even consider going on vacation or leaving our "kids" for any length of time if we did not have Katrina.  She cares about our furry kids and takes great care of them AND our home. 

Katrina has had to help us with what could have been a major plumbing issue while we were out of state.  She stayed until a plumber came and remedied the issue we had, which we know she had not been planning to do.

Our kids always seem to have some kind of special need, be it medication or just their personality issues, and she deals with all of them calmly and caring.

We have always relied on her so much and she has NEVER disappointed - NEVER!!

Fantastic experience. How wonderful to find someone who connects with my cats who are my children. Was gone for a week in Chicago. I have to be able to completely trust someone to come into my home while I am gone and take on that huge responsibility. Could not find one thing to negatively critique. Would highly recommend and will use again.

They are reasonably priced and are absolutely awesome.  They are dependable and reliable.  I have been using their services for the past 8-9 years. 

This went great. As far as we know, everything went great. She even emailed us telling us that everything was fine and our cat missed us!

Katrina was a heaven-sent after my former pet-sitter moved out of State.  She is very professional and definitely fond of animals.  She took charge when my cats had anxiety problems and intestinal problems.  She took them to the vet and got meds for them.  She even cleaned up all the messes!  Katrina is very nice.  I will definitely want to call her in again when needed.

I was very  worried out about finding a trust worthy, honest and reliable pet sitter for an upcoming  6 day trip.
Boarding is not really an option as our little Boston terrier does not tolerate stress well at all.   We also have a siamese cat who is very vocal and demands a lot of petting.  It was really important to #1 find someone trustworthy and reliable and #2 find someone who would provide the extra attention and care for our 2 dogs and cat.  Katrina from Vis A Pets really did a great job at both things.  On top of that,  she is located right here in Flower Mound so that was a huge bonus. I did NOT want to go with a large pet sitter outfit that subcontracts/hires any ol schmoe looking for a part time job where you have no clue who is going to show up and enter your home.   With Vis A Pets, you always talk to and have Katrina.   Furthermore, my animals loved her.  They instantly sensed her good nature and took to her immediately.  If you want an honest, trust worthy person who sincerely and genuinely cares for animals, I highly recommend Vis A Pets.  Pricing is reasonable and competitive to other places.  You really don't need to look any further. Trying to find someone to help take care of your pets and house is always a scary and stressful ordeal. I researched Vis-A-Pet on Angie's List and contacted Katrina. We were still in the process of trying to find someone close to the family to just stay in our home while we were away, but I wanted to make sure that I had someone else in line in case we were unable to arrange otherwise. We have 4 cats, 3 of which you could call "special needs" animals. One has anxiety issues which cause him to misbehave in the house during the day. He stays inside at night, but goes out during the day. Another is missing one back leg and has limited use of the other. You can imagine my worry at finding that perfect person to look in on them in our absence!
Katrina was wonderful! She came in and spent a good amount of time getting to know the cats. She paid each one special attention. One of our kitties stays hidden when any stranger is in the house, but he even wandered out to meet Katrina! I was flabbergasted, and that was when I knew that I had no need to be nervous about leaving them in her care. She took time to walk through the cats' schedules and what would be needed each day. She had an estimate form that she filled out so that I could see exactly what I would be paying for. This also included checking house, plants, pool and making the house look like someone was there each day. I was super impressed.
Fortunately, we were able to get a family friend to actually stay in our home that was also familiar with our cats, but I will most definitely have Katrina's info on my desk so that I can use her in the future. I was really impressed with her animal skills, so much so that I wrote a review for her without using the service. I know how hard it is to find someone good you can trust. I would definitely recommend Vis-A-Pet!

Katrina did a great job taking care of all of our animals while we were on our spring break vacation.  We have two dogs, a cat and hermit crabs.  Katrina took the time to understand all of their needs before we left for vacation.  She also brought in our mail and paper, made sure the trash was out on trash day and our pool skimmers were kept clear and the pool had sufficient water. 
All of our animals loved Katrina and we did too!  We will definitely be using her in the future!

Overall, the experience has been good. You can tell she really likes animals and she did extra things while she was at my home, like bringing the mail in.

Katrina came out to meet me and my pets.  We discussed what I needed and where things were.  She was wonderful with my pets and I knew they would get good care.  I have never had anyone come to my home while I was away before and was nervous about finding someone.  I felt good about Katrina because she is very professional, animal friendly and responsible and trustworthy.  She also was happy to water the plants and bring in the garbage as well.  It was nice to know everything was being taken care of while we were away.  I would definitely use her again and recommend her to friends.

Katrina was great. She came to meet the boys ahead of time and they immediately bonded with her. It's clear she loves animals and has a great rapport with dogs. She was prompt and is easily contacted via email.

Katrina has been taking care of my dogs for over 8 years and I cannot imagine our lives without her. She knows each of their personalities so well that under no circumstances I would question when she says that something is going on with one of them; her connection with my pets is not just physical but at much deeper level?and they adore her!. I recently lost one of my beloved schnauzers to cancer and Katrina?s care and compassion were paramount not only to keep Kass comfortable but also for my own sanity. She is absolutely the best when taking care of sick or special needs pets?I would not trust my girls to anyone else.

Katrina scheduled a meeting so that she could meet us and our four cats prior to us going on vacation. She arrived promptly at the specified time and listed intently while we explained where everything was and how we normally do things around the house regarding the pets and their care. The four cats came out to meet her and were delighted to have someone else that pay attention to them and pet them. Even our old "anti-social, grumpy and spiteful" cat came out of seclusion to meet her and he actually hung around for a while to be petted with out complaining or getting nasty at anyone. Once we had spoken for a while and exchanged all of the needed information, Katrina headed home, but not before introducing us to one of her "fur babies" Kahlua the dog who was riding with her to keep her company. We knew at that point that we had made a wise choice in pet sitters.
While we were on vacation we got daily updates on everyone's condition, and we got a phone call as we were getting off of the plane home to make sure that we were back safely and to give us a last update on how everyone had done while we were away. She did a wonderful job as the house was neat and tidy, the litter boxes clean, and the cats relatively unconcerned that we were home. Normally when we have returned home from vacations in the past they have acted as if they were starved for human contact and attention, but this time it was more "Oh, you're home, whatever----pet me--enough of that, it's nap time again"
Needless to say we now have a pet sitter for life!

It was an overall fantastic experience.  The whole place was sparkling clean, everything in it's place.  Animals very happy.  Katrina called me when on of my horses chewed some skin raw, because of allergies.  She was very conscientious.

She was available by text/phone/e-mail and contacted me after her first visit (thursday afternoon) to let me know all was well.   I appreciated knowing that she wouldn't hesitate to contact me even if it was just to say everything was good.   I loved not having to worry about our sweet dogs.   I didn't expect her to take out the trash but she did that as well on Friday!   i contacted her when we arrived early on Sunday and she came over to see the dogs one last time and return our key.  I was very pleased with her dependability and love of our dogs.  I will definitely use her again and don't think anyone will be disappointed with her services  Highly recommend!  

The following is a summary of service on Friday, 30 April - but is typical of a visit.    - Katrina was expected to arrive at 5 PM - she was prompt.    - She spent about 15 minutes with the dogs.  Katrina has a calmness and relates well to them.    - She walked the dogs.  There were no incidents.    - After arriving back, she spent some more time hanging out with them. On other occassions:    - she spent time in the back yard.    - provided meds and dinner. We have had Visipet services for over a year and are very satisfied with the services.  Fully expect to continue this positive activity for our four kids.

Fantastic.  Katrina is reliable and honest and most importantly, she is extremely caring, calming, and just wonderful with animals.  On the first vist she made to our house, when we were evaluating whether to use Vis-A-Pet, she sat right down on the floor and began to pet our dogs and interact with them.  The dogs are approx. 100 lbs and 50 lbs and she was not intimidated by them.  She was extremely calm and quiet-spoken when dealing with them.  This is not the first time that we have used Vis-A-Pet.  We continue to use the service because of the care that Katrina Tiner gives our dogs.  The price that we pay for her services is well worth it and the peace-of-mind in knowing that Katrina will take good care of our dogs can't be beat.

Great - could not ask for a more responsible, professional and trust-worthy person than Katrina...
