Premier Lawnscapes of Texas

This review is 100% based on my experience and opinion with Tim at Premier in hopes to educate others who may consider contracting with Premier on what they may expect. We contracted with Tim at Premier in late 2021 for some landscaping and new sod on our new home in Copper Canyon. Tim did a good job helping design the landscape and putting a plan to together for our design. He was hands on to start and took us to the nursery to pick our plants and trees. He completed the project as described. Many of the sod squares however were already dead on install. Tim said let's wait till the spring to replace them due to the cold weather in the winter. We contacted him in March and he said he would come out to replace them in April. Come April it was extremely difficult to get a hold of Tim. He would not respond to calls and many texts. He finally answered the phone one day sounding extremely frustrated with us asking him to replace what he said he would do. He did come out and replace some squares but told us he was not able to get any more because of the grass shortage and that he would come back as soon as he got hold of more sod. (which we do not believe since we have seen sod at many nurseries) Since then it has been a nightmare dealing with Tim. He does not respond to texts and flat-out ignores our calls even though he repeatedly said he said he would replace the remaining dead sod. (I have text message to prove). I have even given him multiple opportunities to flat out tell he didn't want to honor his warranty by just saying so. We paid him $56k to do our project. Initially he was very responsive and professional and I actually considered him a friend. Obviously it was all for show till the check cleared. Once he received the funds he had no desire to follow up on his word. Buyer beware. If it's one thing I cannot tolerate it's a liar. If you hire Premier to do any work, our recommendation is to not pay him in full until every item is completed. I can't say enough good things about the owner Tim Chapman and his crew. They're always very friendly, accommodating and easy to get in touch with, plus I am extremely satisfied with the job they do. They're friendly and care about their job. Although it's my job to make sure my yard is clean, the few times I've forgotten to put away our garden hose or dog toys, the crew has put those things away by themselves. It might not seem like a big deal, but it's one of the little things that makes a difference to me and makes me even more happy with what and how they do their job.

I have been a client of Premier Landscapes close to five years.  I wanted a one stop shop for all lawn care needs and this was it.  I pay a very fair monthly price for great work.  The year round service includes weekly mowing, edging, trimming and clean up during early spring to late fall.  During the winter months you still get a monthly clean up which is great for maintaining the various landscape needs and leaf removal.  Talk with Tim about any yard needs you may have and he is happy to help with additional projects.  Additional fees apply, but the best part is you do not have to track down someone else to do the work.  Want to change up some landscape?  He can help evaluate and install what you need.  Add mulch, no problem.  Sprinkler turned in to a geyser?  He has helped me out there as well. 

I bought my house almost five years ago and the previous owner had done a lot of work with landscaping and you could tell they took pride in their yard.  I wanted to maintain this, but did not want to do all the work.  Rather than find a lawn service, a separate weed and feed service, and someone else for whatever project came along, I found one service to handle it all.  My yard has continued to look great and even one of my neighbors hired Premier Landscape after seeing the great work they have done for me.

The total landscaping package is awesome!!!! I never worry about how my property is going to look as Tim takes care of everything. Weeding, fertilizer, hedge trimming, plant recommendations, annual flowers, etc. I have used many different providers in the past and he is by far the best. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I love them. I really like having someone get this chore done for me and done correctly. They are prompt, and quick, it is almost 1 acre of lawn. They do a thorough job at a reasonable price.

They are doing a good job. They are reliable. He does email billing, which is convenient. It is good quality.
