Pretty well. Staining was a problem.

When I called Bret on Saturday he answered right away. I took a few pics of the stairs and eamailed him. He replied back with a bid the same day all via email and was our best priced bid. We used his website to pick out amongst the sandard patterns. He was able to schedule us right away. The night before install, we made a custom change which was no problem since he has the parts in inventory. The ballusters were solid, not hollow which was a plus for us. Installation was excellent. He was prompt and even came out early to meet me before I had to run to work. He did the work himself and was professional and fast. He was done in 4 hours and stairs look awesome.

Alex responded to my call within an hour or two. He directed me to his website where I was able to select a pattern. After a few emails confirming the chosen pattern and price, installation was scheduled for the next day! Installation took about 3 hours, and I had my new balusters by lunchtime. They're a beautiful update to my home.

The job was quick and easy with no mess. They cleaned up everything. Showed up when promised and finished when promised.

Fantastic job. From the beginning Bret was very helpful. He brought samples of the various finishes of wrought iron replacement poles and the shoes that go on the bottom of the poles to our home. We were able to use the Grand Stairway web site to pick the style / pattern of wrought iron we wanted. Bret was great on follow up phone calls and was punctual on the day he did the work - arriving on time and finishing in the time he said it would take.
While here, he was very respectful and professional. He cleaned up the interior mess from the demolition of the old stair as well as the garage where he cut the poles to size. However, the most important part is the very professaional work which was completed and we love the final results.
We would highly recommend Garnd Stairways to anyone replacing or renovating a staircase.

The work was wonderful and Bret did a great job! I was thankful for his referrals and the quality of work he and the other companies provided! The wrought iron was installed the next day after the wood work was done and the entire project lasted under a week!

Spoke with Alex on Wednesday, talked through a few options which was quite helpful. Alex was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. Decided to schedule job and the entire project was completed by Thursday afternoon. Outstanding quality and an absolute breeze to work with. All I can say is "Wow!" I talked with Alex on Thursday, emailed photos of my existing staircase, looked at options he pointed out in his showcase, made my pattern selections, and voila, I had a quote. The very next morning, Alex and his brother Bret were in my home, exactly when they said they'd be, and by 1PM, I had an incredible new wrought-iron staircase. It is amazing! From boring to brilliant in hours. . . .Alex and Bret are great to work with, quiet (I work from a home office feet from the stairs and was not disturbed), convivial, professional and attentive to detail. They clean up as they go, so there's no dust flying and nothing left to sort out when they leave. I wish every home remodeling company would be this attentive, this professional, this pleasant and this punctual! The price was great, the work was beautiful and the entire experience was exceptional. I have already recommended Alex to several friends and would call on these guys again in a heartbeat.

Alex was very professional. Helped me pick a style that suited me. Scheduled quickly. Arrived promptly and completed the work in one day. Several of my friends have used him since. No complaints for anyone. Everyone enjoys their new look.

I contacted Alex on Saturday and discussed several options. After helping navigate the look I was seeking we settled on a style and final price. I asked him to add me to his job schedule fully expecting to be sometime after Thanksgiving. To my surprise, he scheduled me for 2 days later on Tuesday. Outstanding work and customer service. Alex was very prompt. He was highly efficient in making the necessary repairs to our builder-grade wrought iron stair case. He was very honest in his assessment and told me that replacing all the balusters was completely unnecessary and a waste of money! Our banister is very sturdy now and all the balusters are secure, thanks to Alex!

Alex and his brother did the work and were finished in under 4 hours. Alex was very helpful in design and the work was done when he said it would and in a very professional manner. They cleaned up after and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Alex was easy to get hold of and promptly returned our phone call. He was punctual for our appointment and was very helpful assisting us with our final design decision, showing us actual samples of the balusters we were considering. He gave us a quote on the spot, and the best part is that he was significantly below other estimates we received. We made the appointment and he again was on time and completed the work in the estimated time. He cleaned up the work site and left us with the most beautiful "new" stairway! It was an outstanding experience. Alex is the owner of the company and does all the work himself, and obviously takes pride in his workmanship. We have already recommended him to our neighbors!
