Goins Go Getters

Michael Goins is the owner of the company. My son had used him for quite a while. Mr. Goins came out to do a long list of repairs, which were extremely unsatisfactory. The job cost me a lot. I paid $1500 for the repairs. He did an absolute worst job. He replaced some fencing. He came out for a whole week. He did a few things right, but most things he didn?t. On a late Friday evening, I was really stressed and he was in a hurry to leave. He supposed to do the work in three days and it took him five days. I was willing for him to get out. I foolishly didn?t go around and check everything he had done. It wasn?t until after he had left that I discovered the poor job that he had done. He used a nail to attach the wood fence. He didn?t bother to put on the right size of nails. He just used what he had. So, on the insides of my fence, nails were sticking out a good half inch. They were rusty; I would have died of tetanus. He had promised to come out and fix some things. He was very sloppy. He really ripped me off. The price I paid would have been a good price if he had done a proper job. He told me that he was a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber. I don?t think either of those things is true. He also claimed to be a minister and talked about God all the time. I think it is his way of getting the people to trust him, but he is not trustworthy. He installed a microwave oven over the range. He clearly had no clue how to do it. When I tried to open the microwave door, everything fell off. I ended up spending $130 to have another company install it properly. He, very grudgingly, agreed to come back and fix things. He hasn?t done the work and I don?t think he will. He was punctual when he did the work. He was very unprofessional; he lied to me. My son has stopped using him and I will not use his services again in the future.
