ED'S CARPET
About us
Self employed Carpet Technician with over 30 years experience with installation and repairs. Stretching - is completed using a power stretcher. This gets the job done right! People ask why their carpet gets loose. Many think it's the kids or the dog running around the house! Some people blame the moving of furniture. In my experience, ripples can show up as soon as three years after the original carpet installation. The cause can be the backing on the carpet expanding and/or relaxing or the original installation was not completed using a power stretcher. After a power stretch, the carpet should not have to be restretched again! Seam Repairs - completed using high quality hot-melt tape. The most common seam repairs are doorways. Water damage may also require seams to be repaired. Carpet Pad Replacement - When there is water damage, carpet pad soaks up water like a sponge making it next to impossible to dry. The best thing to do when you have water damage is to have the soaked pad removed, allow the carpet to dry, then have new pad replaced and the carpet restretched. I can take care of all of this for you!
