We recently had a fence built, but the contractor left us with a lot of problems and disconnected his number. Our solar panel wasn't properly connected and some of the welding had broken, rendering our gate unusable.
Fortunately, our neighbor introduced us to Steve. He took his time and explained EVERYTHING to us. After the bad experience we had just gone through, we were so grateful to be talking to someone who was so knowledgeable and transparent!
Steve asked us for much less than I was expecting, and we had him do the work without hesitation.
The work was done the next day. Everything is connected, the welding was done properly, and they grounded down some rough spots on our gate track that were causing the gate to get stuck.
We are very happy with the work and Steve will be our go-to guy for any fence work we need in the future. I have already recommended him to friends and family.

Called to follow up on a gate review from a previous date, I told them the fence didn't open when I had used it later, and he walked through all of the items I could check on my own.  He was then back at my house within an hour of that conversation, found the issue, and solved the issue within 30 mins, and was gone again.  Works like new, and shouldn't have issues with the fence for a long time to come.  Courteous, outgoing, explained everything, I know things to do on my own now.  And basically waived the service call fee since he came back out a 2nd time even though the issue was different.  Highly recommend.

Only issue with Price is the standard $99 fee for a service call.  It seems excessive.  But the service was great, and Steve talked me through everything I needed to know, and then helped me by email and phone call with a follow up issue related to it.  The gate should be good for another 5-8 years without issues.  Steve will be the ONLY company I call in the future.

WONDERFUL SERVICE! Steve made 2 follow up calls to ensure everything was working properly after service. I had such a bad experience with another gate company in the area that literally charged us $1500 over the course of 3 months and we were still have problems with the gate. Steve came out and basically redid everything the other gate company did wrong. He knows what he is doing and cares that the job gets done properly. He is extremely professional and punctual. I am a house manager in HP, Dallas. I have A TON of experience working with repair companies and different vendors. D-Fence has it right. I will continue to use them and cannot recommend them highly enough. It's nice to know that there are repair companies that still actually care about the quality of their customer service. 

I liked that any detail I wanted to have taken care of was tended to. I am picky and Steve did not mind. In fact, my neighbors fence on the outside facing the street was so faded that after he was done, he sprayed their small section of fence so that it would look nicer for the neighborhood. And he did not charge since he did it on his own. I highly recommend Steve Baker. He does high quality work, is fair on price and gets the work done in a timely fashiion.

Damaged our sprinkler system at the backflow valve. I believe it was an honest mistake, but got frustrated that he denied ever touching it. I brought him to valve & showed him where it was turned off & both valve handles were broken off. He then fessed up to having to shut off sprinklers to work on fence. He said he would call a company to repair the valve, but none showed up. He quit answering his phone for a week, so I called from another phone & amazingly he answered. He gave me a stupid story about how the company came out & said it was not repairable. I've done my own sprinkler system before so I know he was just B.S. me. In less than one year, one entire side of fence was about to fall over because they did not secure posts in ground properly. We asked them to replace posts. Instead I came home & found the fence posts all strapped to a tree in my back yard. They removed them later in week. I have no doubt that one good rainstorm & the fence will start collapsing again. In contrast, my neighbor behind me has a 10+ year old fence that is still straight & upright along the sidewalk where our new fence was falling down. My experience was horrible, I caught the owner in lie after lie, and they've done nothing to make things right.

Steve came and gave us a quote.  We accepted.  His crews came and did days of hard, physical labor.  
Our fence is better than new.
