Thunder storm knocked out automated lighting in the house.  Charlie's crew repaired the lighting and modified the switching.

I received two bids from competitors and then asked for references.  One bidder seemed offended that I would request this information but $10k is not chump change to me.... After speaking to a couple of positive references we decided on Charlie Brown Sound which had a reasonable bid.  My only concern was that he thought he could complete the project in one day but it ended up taking two days.
He arrived on time with his father and brother who turned out to be the attic "rat" and was a real champ in running cables and wires.   Our home has been remodeled several times with additional rooms added to existing attic spaces making a strange disorienting attic with limited movement and access.  It seemed to be a rather slow start but once the work began they really got it together.  My wife arrived home at lunch to find holes in our ceiling with speaker wires dangling but was not too freaked out with the mess.  They laid drop cloths and vacuumed up their messes as they worked keeping our house in reasonably good shape.  The number one complaint was the scattering of attic insulation fuzzies from going up and down the attic access but they cleaned up as needed.  Our system was quite a bit of work as we installed four tv's with accompanying cable boxes, dvd players, wii system, etc. but they hung in until the job was done.  After installing one unit the tv and dvd conked out do to an unforeseen electrical problem so we all uttered unmentionables and they had to order a new unit.  It arrived a few days later and installed it without a problem.  The coolest thing is the single remote which took some learning to master but is a vast improvement over our original four remote system.  The overall quality is excellent with a premium picture and unbelievable sound.  I really was impressed with their work ethic.  They charged a few hundred extra for all the extra wiring and time which seemed reasonable and fair.
