Amazing! The crew was extremely professional, efficient, friendly and the work was unbelievable!

The neighbor hired them to trim their trees. Unknown to us, we came home to find they had butchered our trees, over the fence line in our yard with improper cuts. They cut whole trunks off mid stream. No one had the courtesy to ask us, the neighbor instructed them to do so but it is not the industry standard to do this especially at a time when we are all at home and accessible. Further, we are professional landscapers and trim our trees 2 times per year. The branches were delicate and easy to cut back, it did not need to be the entire tree trunk in 5 places. Unbelievably bad and unethical work. The owner of the Company was present and in a long discussion said "we just do what we are told". No regard for the disfigurement of another persons tree when a light trimming would suffice. $5000 River Birch, will need to be removed now at an additional cost as it will never grow correctly again.

I don't have enough praise for the speed, cost, and professionalism of the work. After making a request for an estimate on the company's website on a Tuesday, Bree emailed me to let me know that Mark would be by in the next two business days. Mark came by early on Wednesday and not only left a written estimate in my mailbox, but also called and spoke to me. He said that if I could let him know by the end of the day, he could have the tree removed the next day. I had used another company in the past to prune trees and do other landscaping, and I initially wanted them to be able to bid on the project. However, the estimate that Mark provided (about $677 for not only removal, but hauling, stump grinding, and removal of any surface roots) was so good that I cancelled the appointment and scheduled 1 2 Tree to come out the next day. Mark said that the crew could be at my house as early as 7:30 a.m. They were actually there around 7:15 and began work by 7:30. With a crew of 5-6, they had cut down the tree within about a half hour. Prior to that, they had already dug up most of the surface roots. My son and I had painstakingly marked those with orange utility flags, and the 1 2 Tree crew took care of every single one of them, including those on my neighbor's side of the property. Upon completion, I inspected the work and was very pleased. The bothersome roots were gone, and in place of a tree was a nice smooth spot upon which I can sod or seed in the spring. No doubt I will have 1 2 Tree back to perform additional services. What a pleasure to find a company that does work so quickly and well at such an affordable price.

1 2 Tree responded right away to my service request and sent someone out the next day. We were very pleased with the service. Cost was very reasonable.

The only thing I didn't like is, and this is something I guess I should have made sure is I think all the cuts that they make on hook tree should be filled, and they didn't. They said that it was a quarter or under, they didn't fill them, and we called them back on that and nothing was done. So, if I use them in the future, I would say, "Do you fill all tree cuts?" Because there were some larger ones that didn't get filled. So, that's my complaint. They did a great job cutting. I just think they should have filled more of the cuts. I would recommend them, but if I recommended them to someone I would just make sure I ask about the tree cuts. There were some bigger ones that weren't filled. Maybe they felt like they didn't need to, but I thought they should have been. That's after they left, we paid them and everything, we found that the next day.

It started a little shaky as they did not bother to call ahead for the estimate and just showed up when we weren't home.  Their initial price was a little higher than the other bid we had.  They called a few times and we decided to get a third bid from a highly rated company on Angie's List.  It shocked us by being 3 times as expensive as 12Tree.  We contacted 12Tree and asked to meet in person to review the scope and ensure they would do everything we wanted.  They agreed to meet my wife at the house.  Once she was assured they had the appropriate scope we agreed to hire them.  They came out within 2 days (it may have been the next day).  They arrived at 8:30 am even though we were the second job of the day.  They did a fantastic job including some additional trimming that was discovered at no extra charge.  Everything was cleaned up and the place looked like a new house when I got home from work.  I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.  I can say the price was competitive with at least one other bid.  I marked it as a B just because it was expensive but worth it.

They contacted me the same day, came out and gave me a quote the next day, and did the work the following day with a team of four workers.  It took about 20 minutes for everything and they left my yard in excellent shape, raking up all of the small twigs and leaving a small mound of wood chips where the tree had been.  Great service!

I hired the company to thin out 4 large trees on my property.  Of the three companies I called, they gave me the best estimate.  They were very responsive.  Setting up an appointment was easy.  They were on time.  They did a good job.  The quality of the work and cleanup was good.  Once they were done, I was given a chance to review the trees and indicate if I wanted additional trimming.  I pointed out a few areas where I wanted the trees to be thinned out more.  They completed the requests without any issues.  
One helpful note:  If you're interested, they offer you free mulch for your flower beds.  This is where they dump the shredded tree trimmings in your driveway from their trailer if you're interested.  I indicated I was interested in this.  They warned me the amount of the mulch that comes out of the trailer would be a lot and that not all of the mulch was fresh.  I still requested it.  I wished I would not have because it ended up being a very, very large pile of mulch and some of it was in bad shape.  This is no fault to 1-2 Tree.  They informed me of the size and what I would be getting in advance.  To help others out, unless you have extremely large flower beds, you probably want to pass on the free mulch offer. 
I would use this company again.
