GATLIN CABINET CO

Never use this cabinet maker. Period. Here's why 1. Met with the sales rep. He was annoyed we wanted to dive into the details even though it was clear he wasn't remembering what we had asked him to do. 2. Endless trouble: a. Several parts of the cabinets were not made correctly. Not a huge surprised given our sales rep. So several parts were sent back to Gatlin to be redone. b. The cabinets were to be painted before they arrived to our house. The painting finishing was was horrible. c. Two yahoo's came to fix the painting. They didn't seal off the kitchen and started spraying the cabinets which filled our dining room and family room with a cloud of paint. I kicked them out. d. Fixed cabinets parts came back from Gatlin and were still wrong. Back to Gatlin. e. After many phone calls we finally got a hold of the service manager. After two week delay the service manager and his two "paint experts" came to our house and took 12 hours to repaint our cabinets. Keep in mind we ordered the cabinets to be painted at the plant to avoid on site painting. This was supposed to cost extra but was refunded because of the issues. f. When the last door panels finally arrived and made correct the "paint experts" finished painting the doors in our garage. Filling our garage with a cloud of paint!!! 3. More trouble - Our contractor had two other jobs with Gatlin. Both of them had similar issues to the point that one of the ended in a lawsuit.
