Water Pumps
$695
The service itself went ok. They spent about 2 hours d*** this work, apart from the service call, which we paid $75 for separately. In March 2014 our well pump quit. This vendor was given to us by the home warranty company. Like I said, the service part went ok. We mostly spoke over the phone, tossing ball park numbers around. We were expecting to pay $250 for pulling the pump. The field service man told my husband the bailing would be $125. We finally got the bill in the mail yesterday. The pump pull was double what we had expected and the bailing was almost triple. I went to the office and the price for the pump pull was adjusted, but the price for the bailing was not. $350 for bailing a well is a ridiculous price. I work in the environmental sampling business and I know what bailing a well is. It should not cost $350. I could have bought a disposable bailer and done it myself. We are unhappy that the pricing kept changing so many times and in the end, we paid twice as much as we thought we should have. I will not have them provide service for me in the future.
