SUNDANCE KID PAINT COMPANY

I contracted with Sundance Kid Paint Co. to paint the exterior of my home.  I was to pay for all paint and supplies, and an hourly rate.  After the work was completed, the company presented me with a bill for all of the items mentioned, plus a 15% upcharge.
Unfortunately, the company chose to power wash the house, and not apply primer.  It's important to know that this house hadn't been painted in at least forty years.  I did express my concern about using an elastomeric paint on top of the old painted shingles, but this company advised that power washing would be enough to allow the paint to stick.  The paint began to peel up after only three months.  When I noticed the peeling, I phoned one of the owners of the company.  He was fairly prompt in coming out to see the damage.  He advised me that some peeling was expected, and that I would need to be ready with touch up paint.  
He advised that the company would return to clean up some over spray, but they have not done that to date.
I cannot recommend this company.

Mike was recommended to me by J&T Cabinet Shop, who had made all of my cabinets. I called Mike and he responded immediately. He actually came out the next day after the cabinets were installed. He stained the outside and inside of the cabinets. He wouldn't let me pay him until I inspected them both the day of the work and the day after. He said "no one pays me until they are 100% satisfied." Never have I met a greater crew. They were all friendly and on the ball. Mike is fantastic and so is his son who works with him. The job they did was unbelievable. It was awesome! A few days later, the painter who the contractor had subcontracted to paint the interior house, told me he had included in his quote any of the closets. When I asked the contractor about it, he said that we had misunderstood about the painting and that closets were not included. His painter, when I asked for a quote on how much more extra to do the work, gave me a quote which was very high and said he would have to come back later. I called Mike Meeks that night, asked him if he could do it and he said he would do it the next day. He came out, did the work and painted some bathroom cabinets while there in addition. An A is not even high enough of a score. He deserves an A++++. I plan to use him for my business as well.
