Excellent. Steve Orelup is both a carpenter and a contractor. He brought in and effectively coordinated with painters. I thought he was very good at finding creative ways to repair our wooden window surrounds, dormers, garage door.

Exceptionally well. The quote was very fair (not lowest, but close), the work started and completed timely. A bit more work was found than originally visible and we approved the extra work which was done at the same rate and with existing materials - cost savings. Steve offered suggestions as to different ways and materials to accomplish the work. On time, on budget, commendable quality and highly professional interaction.

Steve bailed me out of a bad situation left by previous contractors who skipped out halfway through a job. They meticulously reconstructed a custom built-in entertainment center/closet which needed a ton of work. It now looks perfect and functions exactly as intended. Great craftsmanship at a very reasonable price!

Terrific experience. Steve was very conscientious of noise and dust and took great care during the entire project. Steve gutted and remodeled the entire 3/4 bathroom, had great ideas and was patient and engaged the entire time. When we ran into unforeseen obstacles, Steve was able to easily fix the problem and bring things back to current code. He also realized the angles of the old corner shower wouldn’t allow for the 3 panel frameless shower door we wanted and was able to change the pony walls to the right angles. Working with Steve was a great experience. We’ve had him back for other work as well and would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Orelup was always punctual and professional. His quote was not the lowest or the highest but the work performed is excellent. We had a small add on to the original scope of the work. Steve adjusted the bid reasonably and did the extra work promptly. The thing that influence me to do business with Steveson Remodeling initially was the excellent estimate he delivered in a timely manner. The estimate listed labor and materials in a way that made the infomation understandable

While up in my attic I accidentally stepped in the wrong spot and created a big hole completely through my master bedroom ceiling. After speaking with my insurance company Steve was the first contractor that I called regarding the repair, based on his Angie's List rating and reviews. Steve arrived 2 hours later to assess the situation, and provided an estimate that was well inline with what my insurance company told me to expect. Steve began repair of the ceiling sheetrock the next morning and by the time he had finished it looked like nothing had ever happened, all the way down to Steve perfectly re-creating the texture of the interior ceiling to match the rest perfectly....all the while performing the work with a smile on his face. I was so happy with Steve and his work that I had provide me an estimate on some bathroom remodeling work. I would highly recommend Steve and his company for any similar work that he provided for me. Great job, very fair price, and a professional experience throughout.

"The work was done as quoted, and then there was the upset of finding out the cabinet material provided does not match the existing cabinets. I resolved that discrepancy, and was not paid for doing so. Not even materials. I did not cause that discrepancy, but I did make every effort to resolve it. I am pleased you are content with the results, at least."

Excellent! We had already moved into this house and keeping dust to a minimum was a concern. Steve demoed and removed the tile and debris in bins! (No sledgehammer, and very little mess). My 2 year old was able to nap during the entire project and Steve was quick with suggestions on how to make the bathroom look better. For example, he changed the angle of the half walls to make sure that the new shower glass would only need 3 panes, instead of 5. He helped us design a pattern in the hexagonal tile floor. Steve really cared about the project and wanted it to look right but he also really understood the code compliance issues involved. We ran across some strange plumbing issue that was done by a previous remodel, and Steve had an easy fix which was also up to the current code. We did go over the estimated time frame for the project but were not charged more and honestly, Steve was doing such a great job, we did not mind it taking a little longer. Great experience! We've already had Steve back to fix a sticky door and will have him back again when we have a longer list of handymen needs. Cost- very reasonable

Awesome! He is very particular about his work. He is very neat and cleans up everything behind himself. He has done other small jobs for me as well including electrical. Very good cabinet guy and handyman. I won't ever hire anybody else now that he has done work for me. He's the best!!

Steve was great. Very responsive over email and text. Showed up on time, evaluated the issue and went right to work. Grout work came out very well, Steve came back the next day to make sure everything looked good. Before and after pics attached

He did a good job of cleaning and sealing off the tile and applying new grout/sealant where needed. there was one trouble spot that needed to be bleached, dried and then re-grouted. He stayed for 4 hours working on the shower (1 hour longer than contracted) and offered to come back. I can do that spot myself but he left me a toothbrush and grout! That in my book is great customer service and going above and beyond. He is also primarily a carpenter so will call him for future projects around my house!

Has been doing work for me for over 15 years.? Goes out of his way to make sure the job is done right, and made an extra trip back just to be sure the wood repairs looked right after the paint & putty dried.? On-time and always uses quality materials.

Steve was very flexible, working well within our time and budget needs. Room was finished on time and exceeded our expectations. Steve quoted us a price about 1 month in advance and gave us several building options. On completion the room was finished beyond our needs and still stayed within the original budget. We had to have the construction done during regular business hours and while regular business was underway. Steve's construction efforts never interfered with the business operation. Overall, we were all impressed with the speed and efficiency of the project and would hire Steve again for future projects both home and business related.
