Weaver and Associates had a 6 man crew including an on-site supervisor.  They were experienced hard workers and very professional. They answered all of our questions as the project moved forward and were courteous to me and my wife.
During the project a few minor changes were needed but they were quickly resolved.
While excavating they ran into a section with huge tree roots which they were able to overcome with hard work and perseverance.
At the end, Alan Weaver did a walk-thru with us.  We were quite pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend Alan and his team.
Now we just need some rain to see our new drainage system in action.

Alan and his people were very professional.  Getting on his schedule for the 3-day job was the hardest part.  It took almost two months from the time I accepted the bid until his crew was available.  It was well worth it.  There has been significant rainfall since the work was completed.  Water no  longer stands around our foundation or along the backyard's retaining wall.  Very pleased.

Alan was very professional, responsive and knowledgeable about his profession. We went over a few iterations of the drainage design as there were some issues and concerns with the initial design. We also modified this further to incorporate a drainage solution for the roof runoff as well as runoff from my neighbors. Alan also provided a list of references, of which I called several and they all provided excellent reviews of his work, several of which were engineers and  contractors as well as home owners.
He installed a 4" pipe and tied my front downspouts into it to handle my roof runoff. These also included clean-out ports, which I had not seen others incorporate and is good idea for maintenance. Other drainage specialists said the water couldn't be drained to the street, but Alan was right and his design worked when others said it wouldn't. For all the other runoff from the neighbors, this was handled by replacing the old insufficient basin and sump pump, which was no longer working, with a new basin and pump. There was a hiccup with getting the right pump, of which Alan found a special pump to work with my particular scenario, but Alan made it right the next working day. This pump is a force to be reckoned with! There was also an adjustment required with the position of the new basin, but Alan had his guys correct this immediately. Both discharge pipes exit the curb, of which his guys did a great job coring the curb and making it look good as new with the pipes.
The day of the job I also asked him about adding the some downspout connections, with the clean-outs, to 3 other downspouts on the other side of the house. He offered to connect these to another pipe going to the street, but due to budget, I just had him connect these to pop-ups out in the yard to keep it away from the foundation.  He tunneled under the flower beds to run the pipes to the yard, with the pop-ups for distribution, as requested. I was happy he was able to accommodate on short notice.
We've had 2 rains, one light and one heavy, and everything is working flawlessly. Even the part of the solution everyone had doubts about is working as intended. I will also say his crew is the cleanest and most meticulous I've seen. His price was also competitive. Highly recommended.

Weaver and Associates corrected my drainage problems in two areas. I feel their plan for correction was the right choice for my unique problem. I had 4 other companies quote the work. 2 refused to even quote because they had no knowledge on how to fix the issues. One of the quotes I didn't feel confident would work long term, and another drew up a similar plan to Weaver. Ultimately I choose Weaver and Assiciates because of the professionalism and confidence Alan had in solving my drainage problems. His crew was on time, neat, professional, and addressed my questions throughout the job. His foreman Carlos was especially great. There were a few surprises during the work and he and Alan addressed those in ways that were logical. I highly recommend Weaver and Associates for any drainage work you may need.

First, the wait time of 3 weeks turned into 8-10 weeks. Then, during the job, while hand digging the drainage ditch for pipe installation, the workers dug up conduit with electrical going to the swimming pool. Nothing was damaged at this point, but then the company decided to bring in an excavator to use to complete digging the ditch. At that time, they severed the electrical going to the swimming pool. My 85 year old mother was at home, when the supervisor of the job told her not to worry he would repair the damage, because he was an electrician by trade. There was not any mention of any extra charge, because the conduit line had been clearly visible and we assumed the company was assuming responsibility for the damage. When we received the invoice after the job was finished, there was an additional charge for $234.50 for the electrical repair, which was justified by the contractor, because the electrical conduit that was cut "was not marked".

The work performed was a plan designed by Alan Weaver to resolve serious drain problems that threaten to flood my home after any heavy rains. The crew arrived on time; and they worked hard and steady for long hours. The whole crew was very professional and it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. The clean up after the job was completed was very thorough.

The work was satisfactory and the workers were skilled professionals who were on time, courteous, and cleaned the job site exceedingly well. Alan Weaver supervised the job personally.
