on Sun June 7, 20 I called my warranty company about a cleanout that had overflowed raw sewage in my front yard. Tusa's plumbing was assigned on Mon. June 8.I live 4 doors down from this home, and just had surgery so i sent my contractor to meet them. I only knew they were there because they knocked on the door to disturb the renter & she text'd me. I was put on the phone with Matt from Tusa's. He told me that I had a broken sewer line in my front yard, said it had to be dug up and repaired, then he said he had to contact warranty to see if it was covered and hung up on me. I never heard anything. Tues, the renter contacted me again telling me they knocked on the door to tell her they "cleared the problem". I called them to see what that meant and a phone recorder answered, as ALWAYS and I left a detailed message for me to be personally called to be informed of what was happening. Wednesday I never received a phone call, but was told by the warranty co. when I called them that Tusa's had been there that day (no notification again), but there was no electric or running water, so they couldn't do what they needed to do. (which was WHAT?) still no communication from them despite requests. Thursday after multiple left messages on their recorder, I had to call the warranty company again. I was told they were coming out between 10:00-2:00. I never head anything. So called warranty again and was told that on Friday they would be there between 10:00-12:00. At 9:00 am I had an appt with my dr. so I was leaving. I see their truck parked at the location at 8:30 am!!!! The gentleman ignored me as I approached the driver's side door. It took him over a minute to acknowledge me. It was Matt. He said he had to "jett the line". I was never even told this. I asked him about him telling me Monday that it was a broken line...and he DENIED THAT HE EVER SAID THAT TO ME. He said he had to "jett the line" to put a camera down there to see what was happening. I ask, WHY DID THIS TAKE 5 DAYS OF MY TIME AND MULTIPLE VISITS AND SEVERAL LIES AS WELL AS REFUSALS TO CALL ME PERSONALLY???? Horrible customer service. I still haven't gotten to the truth about what is happening with my sewer line, but I guarantee that it won't be Tusa's "helping" me EVER again. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!. Their motto of "we want to know our customers like the old days" is total BULLS**T.
Response from Tusa's Plumbing
"Tusas plumbing has performed all that the warranty would allow us to do. Our up most importance is to get the sewer flowing, which we did. i personally talked to you mulitiple times on different days helping you. Our work order was for the row for arlington. we are to do what we do and repirt to warranty which we fully did. The warranty company is to discuse with customer so nothing is misunderstood. This is why we report to them which is the guidelines all vendors gave to follow."

I had a late afternoon plumbing issue that left me with my water turned off completely. I contacted several plumbers who could not get to me for several days, but Matthew Tusa promised me he could have someone out at 7am the next morning, and he did! I appreciate the punctuality, professionalism, and ability to get the job done in a timely manner, and very reasonable price.

I'd like to share my recent experience with Tusa Plumbing. I want to express how Matt and his entire team went over and beyond to not only help repair the sewage line under our front sidewalk, but made sure he communicated with us in every aspect of the process. (I.e. shared pictures/video of the problem to be solved, how long it would take, and mainly alleviating all of our concerns it would be done right). There are vendors that have the necessary experience to do the job right, and then there is Tusa that not only had the complete expertise to repair the problem, but ensured our concerns and questions were met with complete satisfaction through communication from start to finish. I would more than highly recommend Tusa’s work to anyone out there facing any type of plumbing issues. ...Very happy customer experience. Shawn (Homeowner)

Our home warranty company sent them out. I put in the request thru American Home Shield on a early Saturday morning. Got a call from Tusa's Plumbing in under an hour. Was given the window of time between 10-2. They arrived by 10:30. A woman came with the technician. Not sure why, but she completed the paperwork. They were both pleasant to deal with. Easy repair & they were done in under 30 minutes. The $75 was our service charge thru our home warranty company.

Our home warranty company sent out Tusa Plumbing because we had what we thought was a leak in our slab. They put air through the pipes and found the leak was between the house and the water main so the warranty wouldn't cover it. So far so good. THEN he proceeded to tell us that it was "Texas code" that you had to have copper lines from the main to the house. This is a bald faced LIE. First of all, codes are municipality specific, so no such thing as Texas code. Also, copper is not code anywhere any more.
He said it would be $2450 to replace the line, not including removing the 10 by 10 shrub that was growing over the leak!
Of course we said no.
We removed the shrub (with a neighbors help), exposed the leak, tried to fix it and made it a lot better but ended up calling Tierney Plumbing to finish the job. They are here now and the fix will cost $270.
As if that's not bad enough, Tusa had a bad attitude and left the washer and dryer pulled out from the wall. He also left the gate into the backyard open and the dog got out.
To make matters worse, he knew that the only reason we called a plumber was that my daughter had just had surgery and my son in law is a disabled vet!

Two men came to evaluate my leaking water heater - called by my home warranty company, not myself. Not friendly but thought it didn't matter, just needed my hot water heater replaced. Had to schedule 2nd appointment to actually have the work done. I was not at home when the actual work was performed, came home to pipes attached to the outside of my garage wall! Did not use existing pipes. Looks trashy and unprofessional! When I called to find out why this was done and why I was not ASKED if this would acceptable prior to it being done, I was told he didn't have time to call people when he was working. He was in a hurry and had other appointments to keep that day! He told me he could do it the "right way" but it would cost me about another $400! I was told the existing pipes were too high which was the reason for the work around. Again, why was I not notified? Also, could have completely resolved the issue by RAISING THE HOT WATER HEATER! See photos!

I called on Sunday night and some one answered and made an appt. for Monday morning. Matthew, the owner came out and took care of a relatively small job. He snaked out a clogged drain and replaced all the old pipes under my sink. I didn't get another quote but thought price was fair. I had tried to clean out the drain myself but had no luck. The pipes were old, leaky and needed replacing, which was out of my comfort zone. Matthew was polite and courteous and took care of my problem quickly.
