Shirley Has one of the best owners that 8nsures that every job is done right. He will even come out to my house to answer questions I had. Prices reasonable and instead of spending money on TV ads he invest in his community. I would hire them in a heartbeat. They installed a 4 Ton 16 seer unit in my house complete with duct work after my house caught fire. Price was right and he follows up personally with his employees and customers. So glad I am part of his customer base.

Will not use this company again. Called because our AC was out, was told they would be out at 1pm. Never showed up and never called. They finally showed up after 2 hours and after I called to make sure they were coming out. Service seemed to go ok and they got my AC to work by adding refrigerant, however not even a week later it was down again. I called and they said they would be out to look at it. Never called or showed up, so we called someone else who came out. They found our problem, which turns out that we didn't even need refrigerant. We had an old filter lodged in our coils and our filter drier needed to be replaced. SO needless to say the $180 we spent for refrigerant with Shirley Air was a waste. We will never call them again.

The price definitely doesn't match the service. The equipments and the professionalism are not recommended. We had used $8 / vent service in other area before and this time we decided to try a better service with Shirley Air. We thought $25 / vent could guarantee some professional work. However, I have to say the quality was no better and no proof of licensing either (FYI, Texas required special license to clean the air duct and maintain the AC/Heater, we forgot and we suggest to check their license before you decide. Also, EPA has the guidance checklist for air duct cleaning. Check before and after the service). They tended to shortcut their service when you are not present. No preventive protection is provided for the floor and furnitures. The work is certainly different from what they have promised. Anyway, if you are looking for a quality work, this is the one I would never recommend.

They did a great job.

They charged $25 per vent which we thought was a little high BUT they did a great job. Because of the mold remediation, we could only afford to have one unit and it's ductwork cleaned. We did replace 2 of the vents so we could see inside the duct work. It was super clean when he finished. What was in there before, was disgusting. As soon as we can, we will contact Shirley Air to get the other one done.

The technician vacuumed all of the duct dirt/particulates via a vacuum hose that stretched out our front door and to his truck.  The noise wasn't really too loud (we kept watching TV while he did his work), and we didn't see any dirt escaping into the rooms while the work went on.  The technician was very methodical and moved from room to room in a logical manner which instilled a sense of confidence in his work habits.  He explained what he was doing and how it all worked.  He even took movies of the ducts, before and after, on his iPhone and seeing them made us believers!  We keep a clean house but inevitably dirt and dust accumulate in the ducts.  Shirley Air removed the dirt and dust and left us feeling good about having a house that wasn't recirculating those nasty things.  It was painless (as mentioned, we continued to watch the news on TV while the work was going on) and our 2,800+ sq ft house was done in less than 5 hours.  We would highly recommend Shirley Air - prompt, neat, informative, excellent tools, and kept up a nice pace that had our ducts cleaned in a timely manner.  What more could we ask for?

I had noticed some dust around our AC vents and called another company to get an estimate to have our ducts cleaned. They recommended cleaning our HVAC coils and blower motor, but their unit cost seemed very high. I called our AC guy thinking he might do this kind of work and also wanted to see if cost estimates I had were out of line.
He thought they were and suggested I speak to the guys he works with who do duct cleaning, duct work and AC cleaning. They were here the next day and cleaned, washed, and treated all my coils and blower motor on 3 AC units in our attic. He also noticed some duct leaks and repaired those as well as provided new seals around the AC filters. Over time, the magnetic strips that cover the openings where you slide the AC filters in and out had broken. That was the source of a lot of the dirt in the units.
Very knowledgeable and took care of business. Very thorough. Will use these again.
