They show up when they say they're going to, and they work until it's done. They don't take off your whole roof at one time, they just take off a portion, and so they end during the day, and then at night, because they ended my roofing, but they left the old on, it rained one of the nights, and I didn't have to worry because everything was covered and sealed to make sure it was protected. They run a metal thing all over your lawn to make sure there's no nails left or anything like that. The clean up was good. There were three to four workers that did the job.

About a week ago I had my roof fully replaced by Jamco, and I was really impressed with the experience. I was referred to them by a neighbor who had used them a year or two back. I started off by making an unannounced visit their office in Irving; I've read you want to make sure you are dealing with a business that has a physical address and is not somebody working out of their truck or home. Their office is nothing special, but it serves its purpose and I met a couple of employees while there. Sam was one of the employees, and he pretty much captained everything from start to finish. He helped me by explaining how to work with my insurance company on inspecting my roof (hail damage), and if they were to recommend repair or replacement, what the timeline looks like. He (Sam) came out and did his own inspection, met with the insurance adjuster when she came out, and came out a few other times when I needed him to cover paperwork, etc. As for the replacing of the roof, they used Owens Corning shingles, and were really quick and efficient. A day and a half was all it took, and the workers did a good job cleaning up around the house when they were finished. I'm all around happy with their work, and would recommend them!

Jamco Roofing did an excellent job. I called them for a quote. They showed up on time and gave me three options with pros and cons for the attic. The work could be performed from the outside of the house, so with my permission, they performed the work on a day when I was not there. About a week later, they came back to check the quality and show me the work. The difference in the attic was amazing. It went from smoldering to tolerable with just a couple of easy fixes. Further, the additional gutters matched the color of the others and blended right in. They have worked perfectly since the installation. Overall, I am very happy and comfortable with the work. It was done efficiently and the cost was completely reasonable. We will definitely call them in the future.

After recent rains, I needed minimal roof repairs. I called this company, talked to the lady on the phone, and explained my problem, and told them that I had seen their ad on Angie's List. She said that she could not get anyone out right then, but would set a time for a gentleman to come out today between 1 pm and 3 pm. He called today at 8 am and said the wood roof needed time to dry out some before he came out so he could walk on it and so he could better evaluate it. I explained again that I had a wood shingle roof, and I only needed minimal patchwork. His response was that they do not do repairs to wood roofs. I pointed out that his ad said that they did wood roofs and repairs. He said that if they came out it would cost a minimal amount of $500. I thanked him and we parted ways. The whole experience left me with a complete 1 day delay before I could get someone else to come out. Communication skills from their side could be greatly improved. I was NOT impressed. My scores, in my opinion, are very generous.

James and his Jamco crew were great. James had done a few other homes near us in our sub-division in Southlake. I asked him to take a look to see if there was enough damage for an insurance claim. He found some hail damage and worked with USAA (our insurance). They deemed it enough damage to warrant a new roof. James handled everything from start to finish. His crew took about 5 days to put on the new roof. He used a sub-contractor for the gutters. The crews did a good job cleaning up. My only minor complaint was they damaged some radiant barrier foil in the attic when they put in the new attic fans. When this was brought to James attention he immediately rectified the situation. I would not hesitate using Jamco again. I found the whole experience to be stress free and the quality of the work was outstanding.

Overall I had an excellent experience with James from Jamco Roofing. I noticed they had done several homes in my neighborhood in Southlake. After inquiring with a neighbor I asked James (the owner) to come by. I knew we had some minor hail damage but wasn't sure if it would be enough for a new roof. James was on time for our appointment and he looked around and reported - yes you have damage. Whether it's enough will be up to the adjustor. The very tough adjustor came out and James met him and showed what he had found on the initial inspection. The inspector recommended replacement on some items but not others (like downspouts or metal valleys). James provided me a sample to get HOA approval. Once approved it was a very simple process. His crew worked really diligently and was very hard working. They cleaned up every night and did a good job. I was thrilled with the outcome. He subs out the gutter work and that went well as well. Overall I am pleased with the entire process as the new roof looks great and all deadlines were met without any hassles.

I found Jamco on the Dallas BBB website, and their high rating was no accident. I didn't feel pressured at any point, Jamco was prompt, and the work was stellar! They even assisted me with the insurance company. James gave me all my options, and I even got a coupon from their website for free gutter replacements. The job was on schedule, and James (the owner) communicated to me every step of the way. I would recommend this company to anyone for roof/gutter repairs and/or replacement.
