They came during the time that was scheduled, he was very nice quickly fixed the ac it was a capacitor that failed with the fan. He explained what had gone wrong and also let us know the fan was not looking good but it could last a day or months but we have a home warranty so he can't fix it unless its broken.

They were assigned by my warranty company and failed to perform services. Gave me the runaround for THREE months. DO NOT ACCEPT service from this company. They are a scam.

Steinocher Heating and Air - I would give them zero stars if I could. Unfortunately (for me), I didn't check their rating when my Warranty company assigned them for a repair case ... I first called about an oven problem, they came out after a month and a few months later, the oven is not heating again. In December, I had to call my Warranty company about a refrigerator issue. 2 months later, they still have not come out to repair it. Two months. If your warranty company selects this place to go out to do your repairs, tell them immediately to dispatch another repair shop. Be warned!

No 5 star rating since 2011. WHAT does that tell you? I would give them zero stars if I could. Scheduling seems to be a BIG challenge for the gals in the office AND I was told between 8-12, guy did not show until 4!!! I do recommend looking for another company.

Our Home warranty company sent Steinocher out 4 months ago to look at our A/C. The first 2 times they said nothing was wrong even though it was 85 degrees in our house. The3rd time they came out they said out Air circulator need to be replaced. While waiting o that our oven went out and the warranty company sent the same company out again to fix that 1 month later they came to replace both the air circulator and the part for the oven. Needless to say neither work still it is currently 83 degrees in our house and the oven still won't even heat up. I called the office and the lady was very rude and said she would call me back and I still haven't heard from her. Their Techs don't know what the **** they are doing so I called the warranty company today and had Steinocher Heating and air put on the ban list they will never comebto my house again the warranty company will be seding out a different company for the A/C and a separate company for the oven.

Ken (Owner of the Company) will never set foot in my house again. This guy is a total joke and extremely rude. I am glad I stayed home with my wife to wait for him to arrive because if he would speak to another man the way he did no telling how he would have addressed or treated my wife. I waited at home for him to arrive to make sure the work was done correctly but unfortunately this guy was uneducated in his field and life so he was not able to do anything. My take on this guy/Company is he does as many house calls as he can collecting only the diagnosis fees without the ability to diagnosis or fix the issue. From reading the other review I am not the first to have this issue. This owner is a perfect reflection of his company, a true let down and failure.

They were not able to resolve the problem I had. But did tell me my zone system controller was not working properly. But, that I would have to call someone else to service that. They were very helpful and professional, though. They would have gotten an A if my initial problem had been resolved. The home warranty company was of no help whatsoever and would be rated a “D” if I were reviewing them. They said my coverage did not cover component knocking sounds and did not allow the service tech to pursue that. They were dependent only on what the system codes told them. Well, a knocking sound from a heat pump is not normal or it would knock every time on startup/shutdown. It’s an indication of a problem in the exterior system and it’s not from a tiny electronic controller in the attic. Typical insurance cop out. I would not hire them again simply because they are not a local company, are about an hour and a half away and not because of their service. They were good people and tried to help.

The TLDR version: this company doesn't know what they are doing and do not offer good customer service. Run far away. If your home warranty gives you an appointment with them, tell them you want a different company. The home warranty company sent these guys in November of 2017 to check on one of my heat pumps as it wouldn't cool below 82 when set to 74. Steinocher Heating and Air came out and said everything was fine. I'm sorry, but this was not fine. I ignored it because the heat pump worked for the other side of my house and so during the summer I just stay on the one side. So my second heat pump died this year, the home warranty people again sent out this company. They said they would be out in a 12 to 5 pm window and I asked for the latest possible slot in the window. Then man called at 12:45 pm and I said I asked for the last slot. So he said he would take care of two other calls and call me back. He never did, so at 3:30 pm I called him back, he did not answer his phone, his voicemail was full, and didn't reply to a text. The office didn't answer their phone either. So I sat until 6 pm thinking maybe another call ran late, but then called the home warranty company who told me that they won't initiate a service call after 2:30 pm. Why even offer a 1-5 pm block if that is the case?

The provider was rude and unprofessional. They came out three times and still did not fix the problem. They replaced parts that were not broken. The repair time took over two weeks with no positive results. The owner was excessively rude. I would never speak to someone like he spoke to me. They demanded the insurance co-pay before the work was complete. I talked to the insurance company and they said it is never done that way and that the company knew that. They do not even return calls and no showed twice. The insurance company called another repair company. They fixed the problem in one trip. Steinocher is only in business due to lack of options in the area. I also read reviews online in which others had the same experience that I did.

I had a wonderful experience with them.  I didn't find them on Angie's List.  The owner's name is Kenneth Steinocher.  My son's school recommended him.  I was very glad.  He has a package where you do the heating in the fall and the air-conditioning in the spring for a total of $100.00.
