As a do it yourselfer, I started off by tiling my bathroom floor. To the untrained eye, it looked good...but I knew where my errors were. For that reason, I decided to hire a professional for the additional 900 square feet.
Because I purchase a lot of real estate and renovate I knew what I should be paying. I had there guys give me quotes. One wanted $350 just to pull up a piece of carpeting and haul it off. Another charged $75 to lift the toilet...a 10 minute job.
Jerry gave me the best price, and I always think that its a crap shoot somewhat if the work is going to come out good...so of course I hired him and then prayed.
6/14/2014 I am updating my review. I had given Jerry 5 stars but I am going to downsize it to 3. The bathroom that I had tiled is fine..but the bathroom that he had tiled which is upstairs, the tiles are ll popping up. You can knock on them and see that there are a lot of hollow tiles. The downstairs which is on concrete is fine, and I know that an upstairs can have more issues, but I would not expect these results just a matter of months after installation. Also, i hired another guy to tile the house that I own next door. It was the same square footage. It took him 3 days working alone to complete the entire job statrt to finish, it took Jery and a helper 6 days to do the same job, although they worked some 6 hour days and the other guy worked 8 to 10 hour days.
