+ 2 moreWe are extremely pleased with how the cabinets turned out. They were built exactly as we wanted, along with Gene's recommendations for changes. The fit and finish is excellent. All the lines match, all the doors and cabinets match exactly. All of the drawers are easy to pull and retract automatically. All of the hinges are hidden and with the soft close feature. From start to finish Gene spent the time with us to make sure the end product was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for new cabinets, who want excellent quality at a fair price. Our house is in Spicewood, they drove out from Elgin, on the NE side of Austin.
Description of Work: We remodeled our entire kitchen. Took out all of the old cabinets and replaced them with new ones custom built by Classic Design Cabinets. Complete redesign of the kitchen. Gene, the owner came out and was very helpful in helping us redesign the cabinet layout. His experience in the cabinet business is invaluable. He helped us lay out the cabinets in a much, much better fashion. He understands the role of appliances in the kitchen and helped us a lot with the new layout. We had a glass bookcase and glass cabinet doors built and they turned out beautifully. Gene came out to the house four times to help with the layout and installation. When we decided to change out the configuration of the bar, the Friday before the granite installers were coming out on Tuesday, he had the modified cabinet built over the weekend, delivered and installed on Monday and ready for the granite on Tuesday. Gene is really interested in making your kitchen exactly the way you want it, but at the same time, he will not let you make a "rookie' mistake in your lay out. They may not be the cheapest out there, but they will definitely deliver the best cabinets for the price.
