The initial work looked pretty good although not exactly what we had anticipated. He did change the rock design to improve it and at first seemed like he was going to do the work we had contracted for. We foolishly paid him but after that he disappeared and we became more aware how poor his work was.

The watering system did not work so we called him and he said it was on a timer and was actually working. Believing him at first we let it go until our yard began to die, even while the old grass began to grow through the rocks out of control. Watering by hand was required to save the yard.

He worked on the sprinklers once and they functioned for 3 weeks, then literally fell apart. We found the parts on the ground. The plants again began to die so we watered by hand to save them. He never installed the housing to cover the sprinkler pipes and controls. My husband and I called or texted Eliseo at least 10 times and he would promise to come to complete the work, but he never followed through.  Our trees were green and growing before his work, but became infested with termites afterward.

We have now contracted a new company, who tell us Eliseo's sprinkler pipes were not up to code and would have cracked and broken when the weather turned cold, evin if he had built the protective housing that he promised to install but never did. The new company cut down our trees after demonstrating to us that they were sadly beyond saving.
