Viva Ford

So I see this email for a Ford F150 for a price of $28,945 at Viva Ford. I go to their website and check it out and I email them, I go down there, I like the truck but its a little beat up as far as dents and scratches. The salesman says, "Well thats why its priced as a preowned vehicle as is." I said fair enough and I wanted to make a deal. After offering $28,000, he said actually, the price is $33995. I said, what happened to the price on the website. He said it was a mistake and they will take it down, but he will meet me in the middle on price at $31,995. I was pretty upset and I screen shot all the text, I wish I knew how to upload them here. But I told them that this is a 'Bait and Switch Scam.' Couple days have passed and they haven't fixed the price on the internet. So I park across the street at Albertsons and send my son in. Same thing, I am sorry sir, 'the ad online is incorrect, but we will meet you halfway.' SCAM!!!!!

I would tell a friend to check out other car dealerships before purchasing one there.

They had me waiting FOUR hours for an OIL CHANGE.
                 : 1. I sat waiting 4 hours
                   2. For some reason they skipped over me again and again. Could it be because of my gender? Why?
                       isn't my money as good?
                   3. As I sat and waited, one of their mechanics sat for over 30 minutes (in the customer waiting area) talking on the phone with his girlfriend. How could this happen? He had a cigarette on his ear, smelled bad, and used vulgar language while on the phone. He would dig his left hand deeply into his pocket. What he was doing, I don't know, but he liked his pocket.
I couldn't believe the bad experience. I thought the service department of a dealership was supposed to be great. This was terrible. I had a chance to read their reviews online.  There were about 56 reviews, most of which were written by customers with similar experiences.
If you need your vehicle serviced, go elsewhere. Ironic thing though, I told them upfront that I was a member of Angie's list. They could care less.  At this place, there is a complete lack of understanding of customers.

Great fast service, and even found out why my car had been running so rough and fixed the problem.

I had a wreck on the car and they did the repairs on it but I was not satisfied with them. The actual product was okay but the service was terrible. Overall I was dissatisfied though they tried to save the car I was pretty much dissatisfied until I got it fixed finally. They gave me an unsafe car though finally I had a safe car. Price wise was fairly good.

Robert Knox, there is a reason why he has so many sales aards on his office walls. After visiting the other Ford dealers in town, I was ready to give up, but drove in anyways. It was cllose to closing time and Robert still stayed late to work with me. Robert always send me updates on what was going on and there was no haggling on price. He got me what I wanted first time around. I came back and picked up my wife's new car and dropped off my trade. He did not prep the car as I asked so I could clean the car with my detailing products. Robert followed up with all inspections and title requirements with me. I have only dealt with AAFES New Car Sales over the past 15 years and was relieved to find a salesman much like at ENCS. Robert has followed up with me and the wife and I took her by when she was in town to meet Robert. If you are honest and upfront with Robert I feel he will get you what you need as he did for me. The finace folks also set me up with a loan HALF of the APR that USAA was giving me. Everytime I go by Viva Ford, I am greeted by someone outside with a smile and how they can help me.

My car is under warranty, and that is why I go there. There are 3-4 dealerships in El Paso and this particular one is the closest to my house. This one is probably three miles from my house. I would use them again, not because I think they are so great, but because my car is under warranty and they are close by.
