TruGreen Lawn Care - 5063

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a horrible experience with TruGreen. I saw no improvement in my lawn. So I requested to discuss the issue and see what other steps could be taken to improve the lawn. I was told the tech was coming out today and that he would stop in and discuss my options. Not only did he not stop in to speak to me, he lied about it. On my receipt it says "I knocked on your door, I'm sorry I missed you...", but that is a flat out lie. I work from home and my office is 3 feet from the front door. I would have heard a knock. I called TruGreen about it and they didn't want to do anything. I could deal with less than desirable results if the company is honest and doesn't lie to me and could offer some sort of plan to fix it. But one thing I will not tolerate is being lied to. I asked for a supervisor to contact me, and the next day someone called but it sounded like another tech support person from another country, I could not even understand what she was saying. Very bad english. She did not want to help me at all either. Very disappointed with TruGreen and will not continue to do business with them.

They seem to do a good job. The trees look nice as well. I will hire them again.

I noticed on the invoice one day that the tree and shrub guy spent all of one minute in one visit. (Covering my yard's trees and bushes would require a minimum of 10 minutes for someone working fast.) I complained to their Customer Service and demanded a refund which I got. I later contacted by the Area Manager, gave him my complaint, and he promised me that the employee involved would never serve my yard again. A few months later, I noticed on my lawn service invoice that the lawn guy (same employee who was never to visit me again) spent one minute on my yard. (A worker moving fast would take a minimum of seven minutes to cover my yard.) I complained to their Customer Service, demanded and got a refund, and cancelled all services with TruGreen. I was never contacted by the Area Manager, who apparently never reviews the invoices of his employees to ensure proper service.

I tried TruGreen for a while but I wasn't impressed. I had 20 or 33 that died and I had to replaced them that they wouldn't do anything for me even they were treating the tree. My trees died. They didn't handle it very well. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

I am on a contract with them so they come regularly every six or seven weeks. Their price is pretty competitive for their annual plan. One of the reasons I am satisfied with them was that at one point I was not satisfied with them with regards to responsiveness so I reached out to them corporately. They responded back to me and rectified the situation. They had the general manager come out who addressed my concerns. Since then they have really been on top of the service they provide to me.

Well so far I don't see any improvements, Im hoping to see a difference when the treatments start.

They are very professional on what they do and a very extremely honest company. In these days its very hard to trust any organization. But i have dealt with truegreen before and I trust the company completely.

I like their quality of work. Our family has also used TruGreen and I liked the fact that when I called them they explained to me what they are doing and what chemicals they use. And they leave an invoice indicating the chemicals they use. They gave precautions for after the treatment seeing that I have a small pet. They are reasonably priced. They give me a call before they are scheduled to arrive to let me know they will arrive and they leave a signed warranty that they've treated the lawn so that I can read it. Then I get the bill or I can pay it online.

I have been a Trugreen customer for 7 years. At the beginning, and for a couple of years it seemed to work fine. Then the the weed grasses started getting out of control.  For the past 4 years the problem has been getting progressively worse.  My lawn also has bald spots despite watering as per their instructions.  Looking at my neighbors' yards, they do not have this problem at all, and they don't use a lawn service. 

Truegreen has greatly improved their service lately.

The person that has come out and serviced my home has really great customer service and I only know how well they are treating my lawn until it begins to rain and so forth.

TruGreen was hired several years ago to treat both my front and back lawns and they were punctual. In 2010 it became necessary for them to service the lawns on Saturday. That's when things became hit or miss. They would call me to tell me they were coming and to unlock the gate. I would keep the dogs inside and unlock the side gate and the serviceman wouldn't show. On two separate occasions the serviceman came during the week, treated only the front lawn, but I was billed as if both lawns had been treated. The first time when I complained, they sent someone out. The second time when I called to complain about only half the work being done, the only thing that happened was I receied a bill for the full service. I paid one-half and cancelled the contract. If you are at home during the day, or if you don't have pets, this company would probably work for you.

They are a little pricey, but the services were effective. They helped re-invigorate my lawn.

They charged us monthly.  If there were more services other than treating the grass, they would charge more but mostly it was just treating the grass or weeds.  I used them for about year and a half.  It was a pretty good price.  Our grass looked really good when we were with them.  We decided to switch for a better price.  However, we are considering using them again.

They are wonderful, professional and do a good job. I probably have the best looking lawn on the block and give them all A's. I will use them again in the future.

I would rate them B overall. I would use them in the future.
