I had a maintenance plan with the company. My unit was service in April of this year with problems found. On June 26, my conditioner stop working. I contacted them that day and they someone would come out tomorrow. I took off and waited when that showed up the next day 8:30pm. I was told what was wrong and next day they would have the part. My account is listed one number that I have all contact with the company. I called from work number to confirm the part. I was called that someone would be over after 4pm. I called the company on my cell phone which is the listed number on my account at 5:49pm. They were let me know when would be there. He supposedly came at 5:56pm. I was not called because he called my office number which no one answer instead of the number listed. I switched to another company which gave me an appointment time.

"We have checked GPS and phone records and have found that our tech did arrive after 4pm as promised and you did not answer your door nor cell phone. In addition to that, you called our tech after we left a courtesy door notice that we were sorry we missed you. Our technicians are very popular during this time of year with extreme heat and have other customers to tend to. When customers aren’t home, it ties up our schedule and prevents us from providing efficient service."

Not good! The technician even told me that that most of their business is from quotes because their cost is too high for people to actually pay them to get to work done!

Total Air did an excellent job. Other companies in this area said they would only be able to fix certain portions, but they wouldn't be able to fix everything. Total Air fixed everything! My whole system was brought up to code, and it passed inspection. I appreciate everything Total Air did to fix the horrible install from the people who initially installed my refrigerated air. I will definitely use them again, and I have recommended them to everyone who asks.

We make it a practice of commenting on contractors or services we experience that merit special praise. Total Air Services out of El Paso is one such contractor where the entire organization deserves such praise, from its owner Brandon Brooks to its personable and very helpful front office staff and field representative to the crews that actually did the work for us. We'd decided to add refrigerated air and a new electric furnace to our home to replace two evaporative coolers and a 27 year old Coleman furnace.
We asked around, did some research, and read reviews on Angie's List. We eventually met with a representative from Total Air Services and received a proposal. After further discussions about equipment options and prices at their office, we were scheduled for the work to proceed. And did it! Three vans showed up promptly in the morning during the first week in May, 2015 with at least half a dozen technicians/installers and by 5:00 that afternoon, the system was up and running. As we face this first week in August where the temperatures are to be in the triple digits, we know we will be totally comfortable inside our house. As a footnote, we had originally chosen to leave the swamp coolers on the roof should we want to use them for perhaps more economical early or late season cooling where temps are much less severe. We decided a week ago that made little sense and I asked Brandon Brooks if he could have the coolers removed. Without hesitation, he scheduled the work for the following week and that crew removed the coolers yesterday with efficiency and professional competence. It's a pleasure to highly recomment Total Air for HVAC services.

Very satisfied with my purchase. Everyone involved with the installation was professional. Most importantly they met the installation completion date as scheduled. Haven't had any problems with the equipment. Looking forward to the summer so I can use the A/C. I will definitely recommend to any one.

I started with 8 potential companies. I got estimates from 3. I chose Total Air to do 2 conversions from swamp to refrigerated air and 1 new construction refrigerated AC installation. The contact person was fantastic, personable and due to traffic was running a tad late for his estimate, and called to let me know. The crews were equally amazing, and professional. In one of the conversion houses, we installed a water softner system and that company was in awe of the work that was completed. Although Total Air was the highest of the 3 estimates, the perks they offered over the other 2 lower priced estimates was worth it. They use a crane to remove the existing ACs and place the new units and I liked that safety factor. They even brought the 2 used Mastercools out to the new shop for use for another project. If I had any complaints, it would be that they are so busy that it took a couple weeks to start the project because they are so busy, but that is also a sign of good work, so we were OK with that. Would absolutely use them again.

I didn't think there were companies around like this any longer! Somehow, the two men who answered our call inspired my confidence when they walked in the door. They listened to our complaint (there didn't seem adequate cooling ? it was a very hot season). They moved outside to the compressor, checked Freon supply and compression, both adequate. Came inside and checked flow from cold air supply to house (normal), inspected the thermostat (properly set) and put it down to unusually hot weather (I am more sensitive to variations in temperature than my wife is), to which we both agreed.
No problem found, but we were reassured that we weren't being sold anything unnecessary.
Would I request this service again? Without doubt.

They worked hard, fast and, proficient and were done in one day with the AC conversion. At my request They returned the next day to replace some old duct in the attic with new energy efficient ducting. All my calls were returned promptly and questions were answered professionally at a layman's level.

The temperature has been over 100 degrees for about a week now. It is Sunday afternoon and I notice that the AC is not cooling the house below 85 degrees. I call Total Air about 6:30 pm hoping they can diagnose any problems and return on Monday early with any needed parts. I have two dogs and would hate to leave them in the sweltering house for more days than needed. I am fully prepared to pay the after hour/emergency rates. I get a call back from Brandon, the owner, within 15 minutes of leaving a message. I explain my situation and within minutes Brandon diagnoses the problem by asking some simple questions and guiding on where to check the unit. Apparently having to cool in these high temperatures with a dirty (very dirty) filter causes some of the piping to freeze, thereby not allowing the unit to cool.
Problem solved by tuning off the Cool feature on the unit and using the Fan feature to melt the ice, and of course by cleaning the filter.
Brandon spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me and even answered question on the best types of replacement filters. The whole time being courteous and patient.

Everything went as scheduled from the first visit to the installation. No issues and everyone did what was promised at the time agreeded on.
The a/c was installed in May and worked fine all summer.
Once the cold weather started we finally tested the heater and it did not start up. I called late on Friday evening and got an answer right away and within an hour the technician was at my house and fixed the heater.
