It was okay, I don't think it was anything fantastic or great or anything like that, but it was okay. The toilet was running, and I had bought something to put it in and try to fix it myself, but it didn't work. So, they came out and they did fix the toilet and they did a good job. So, it was good, it was okay. I think they're pretty much the same as everyone else on pricing. Plumbers are real, real l, real expensive, but it was just about the same as what the rest of them charge. The quality was good, they fixed the toilet and it never ran again.

7 separate mistakes were made with scheduling and then after the faucet was installed they forgot to reconnect the dishwasher the day before Thanksgiving. We got them back Friday to finish up what they started on Wednesday but it led to a lot of hand-washing of dishes during the holiday.

It went better than expected. Justin is very knowledgeable in his work. I will be requesting him in the future. He provided me a free evaluation for my whole house when i had only called in for my sink being stopped. Also Provided me with a free and reasonable estimate for a new water heater installation that I will certainly get done ASAP. A plumber showed up on Tuesday 8/2/16 and tried to unclog the toilet that was backed up. He used an auger, but the toilet was still clogged. We were told that the job he did was $89. Plumber told us he could come the next day, and go through the outside line with the heavy duty electrical auger. He said that would be an additional $129. Then he continued to tell us that if that didn't work, he could remove the toilet put the auger through there, and reset the toilet. That charge would be $109. We agreed to that, thinking that was the fee they charged and nothing else. Well both jobs were done, and we were thinking we were going to pay a flat fee of $238 for both jobs like he told us. Not the case though. On top of the $238, he charged us an extra $218 for a "per hour fee" which he never told us! These guys are CROOKS! If he would've told us this per hour fee from the beginning, I would've looked elsewhere. I wouldn't trust this company. If you do use them, make sure you get everything in writing before they tack on extra charges! As a result though, he did fix one toilet issue, but the other toilet is not flushing so well still.

Great! We called for an estimate on 12/10/15 and they were at my house within the hour. They completed the estimate and we told them we would call on 12/11/15 to let them know whether they should come or not. When we called they were on another job but said they could be here in and hour to hour and a half. They arrived right on time. The work was completed in about an hour and their work was very professional. The men who came were very friendly and answered any questions we asked. They were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done. It was a pleasure to have them work in our home. My husband and I would highly recommend their services. We have other plumbing problems that we intend to call them back to repair. We were extremely lucky that our water heater was still under warranty.

They found the problem to be a hanging odor cake that had fallen into the toilet causing the stoppage. They used an auger to clean out any other objects, but none was found; bottom line is they fixed the problem with their attention to detail. They also performed a residential evaluation of our home plumbing at no further cost to us.The professional care that Jose & Danny showed in going the extra mile to check the overall plumbing in our house was outstanding & I will definitely call on Surety Plumbing in the future. Thanks for a job well done!!!

Plummer was able to fix in about 10-15 minutes, but unhappy with the price, cost $109.00 and one of the facet handle was not repaired d/t the plummer Henry stated he had to cut the wall.

They were great. They were here when they told me they would be. I explained the problem to them and they fixed it. I have no problem with their services. Charges seemed fair to me. Guys were very courteous.

At first he quoted me 4 hours at $129 per hour plus materials. The pipe was suppose to be placed underground and minimum visibility.
After a whole day of work, leaving the tenants without gas and hot water, the following morning I get a bill from the plumber performing the work of $1300.00. What? I decided to talk with the manager (owner) and they use coercive tactics for me to pay. Since this apartment is very old, there are a few issues that will not pass code. He told me he will call the city to inspect the work, They did and charged me what ever they felt like, According to them, they gave me a reduction in price, but only after I told them I was not going to pay for their lack of planning for the job. They did not bring enough material and this is why they left me without gas and hot water. My mistake was not to get anything in writing because I was in a rush because of a gas leak. Buyer beware!

"Customer made changes during our work process, he wanted to penny pinch on everything. He refused to sign the agreement that's why there wasn't one. He made changes at job site several times so we needed to go back to shop and get additional material. Customer did not want to pay because he claims he could get parts less expensive after agreeing on the price. We spoke several times and he did pay off balance. We thank him for the business."

He also came at 4 instead of 1:30. He was nice, though. He came here with an old machine. He didn?t have a camera and said I would have to pay $75 extra for the camera. He said he?d come back the next day and he didn?t. That was 4 days ago.
UPDATE: 1/20/15: They came this morning with the camera and measured everything. They told us what needs to be done and will give an estimate. They did a good job, and were very nice.

"We went out to do a camera view wish is what she purchased on line but we found out that she had a clogged sewer and it had to be unclogged 1st. We did not know line was clogged til on site. The tech that went was a camera specialist so when he tried to unclog line and couldn't he had to reschedule to have one of our plumbers to go and unclog line. Customer also requested we fix a leak in her front yard a hose bib which we did. Surety plumbing fixed the leak rescheduled plumber for next morning to unclog line and then run camera. We called her next morning to confirm appointment she didnt answer phone also additional # she gave us was disconnected. Surety Plumbing has been leaving messages to get line unclogged, run camera to see what problem is but have not received a return phone call. I have left several messages up to a couple of days ago but no answer. She did pay and we would like to finish the service call. Lawrence Puga 915 779 1101"

After washing a load of clothes, water and debris came back up in the shower and the outside drain. I immediately called 2 different plumbers for an estimate of cleaning out the main sewer line. Surety had the best price of the two I called. After I called Surety, they arrived within 10 minutes. They stated they were just finishing a job close by our house. They cleared the line within 15 minutes and we asked them about another plumbing issue at our daughter's home and he answered all our questions on what might be wrong and approximately how much it might cost. I will call them to get a free estimate next week. Mundo was very professional and courteous.

We woke this morning to find our yard flooded. We called Surety at 7:00am and they called back at 7:40 and said they would have someone out before noon. They showed up, replaced the broken line and were done by 12:00. They were very professional and the price was much less than we expected.

The project did not go well at all. The owners, plumbers, plumbers assistants, receptionists, service reps, except 1 plumber , a young man, were all very unprofessional and one plumber actually became more than just unprofessional, he lied about having a masters license and used threats and violent language. Avoid this company at all costs, there are many other firms that will treat customers well and preform decent work. Do not waste your time, get bids from others.

I returned from my morning physical training on the base to find my upstairs toilet’s valve had let go and water was flooding my kitchen downstairs and flooding the upstairs bath. I called Surety whom I have used before and they were able to have a plumber on site in an hour and a repair to the bathroom’s wall fixture in thirty (30) minutes. Hector had estimated the house back in September 2009 when I returned from Iraq and asked a few questions. The house repeatedly had to have the floats in the toilets replaced. Pipes were failing annually and when the washer was hooked up the pressure from the faucet seemed to cause a failure in the machine. He decided to check the lines to the house and the pressure coming from the city to the residence. The average home is a 70 something, I don’t know if that is PSI or what but I watched and the gauge shot up the 140 and Hector explained the city boosted its water pressure in the afternoon another 10. I contracted for a water pressure relief valve to be installed right away after he searched the premises to see if I already had one and it turned out I did not. He returned that afternoon and went to work. Things are much better my evaporative cooler line does not hiss, howl or whine as much as it did before. The toilets for the first time since 2006 are quiet and the sink does not knock dishes out of your hand when you turn the sink on. I was raised in the Midwest in the 1960’s to present and always thought a shower that could peel paint was the norm, this is much nicer than what I have been experiencing. Great work.

Normally I like writing these reviews on Angie’s list as I believe in the product this service offers. I have had five contractors in my home in the last two weeks and each pulled their weight, delivered as promised and I have had wonderful experiences with the owners and employees. When it comes to Surety plumbing I had what I thought was a decent report with the receptionist and the two men I talked to that I assume were owners or at least senior partners. This company was recommended by one contractor and a woman in the line a Major Home Improvement store I frequent as I continue to repair a home badly damaged by tenants while I served in Iraq. From start to finish there was no consistency and I have had 5 return visits by the company with 3 different “plumbers” and one contractor had to be pushed back as he found he could not begin his work until changes were made in the way the pipes and fittings were run. I returned to El Paso from Iraq on the 24th of September and knowing that I was in for a whopper of a bill for repairs did my best to avoid staying in a hotel as I own a house. I bathed out of a sink and was hopeful for a working shower and bath soon. The work was “completed” on the 28th with the after visits actually completing the job on 9 October and a shower was had by this homeowner and I am happy to say it was wonderful. I wanted to give the Surety Plumbers a “C” even a “D” but in the end the product was delivered. Their staff seemed very eager to right the wrongs of the companies employees. So I will be generous and go with the “C”. As far as “Do’s and Don’t’s” Don’t expect the job to be done right or even by a plumber but expect the staff to respond to your needs right away unless it is of course after business hours. That frustrated me as I had plumbing issues created by them and they waited until the next day to respond. Also I would like to applaud the honesty and integrity of the final plumber that came to repair the things the others didn’t but I would advice against telling the customer after nearly a week and a half of follow on visits that the first guy the company sent out wasn’t “actually a plumber” but he would put out in a meeting on the follow on day the mistakes made in this particular home. I guess I should be charging them for allowing their laborer to “practice” on my home and my patience. I may give this company a second chance and I may not, most likely the latter but I tend to believe there is good in people and I hope the next time they won’t stick it to me as badly or bend me over for as long as they did. I would look around before considering this company but in the end they did honor their work. You be the judge.
