Called on a Saturday morning. Van arrived about one hour later. Edgar, the service technician, quickly surmised the problem, located the drain clean out, and had his rooter up and running within 10 minutes. Blockage quickly and successfully eliminated. Edgar then helped me clean up the back patio. It was expensive, but it was a fair price for such timely and effective service.

I always thought that people that are specialized would have all the parts they need on their truck but every time I called them they had to go back to the store or back to their home office and pick up a part. Whey Which made them have to come back the same day. That was a little frustrating because I was working at that time so I had to take off work for the whole day. That just did not sit too well that they never had anything on their truck. I never saw the same person twice. I don't know if there was high turnover or what was up with that. The quality was always good. They would meet their appointment times, but they always had to go get a part or something. They did come out within a relatively short amount of time after I called.

We are a property management company here in El Paso.. We have called rooter- rooter several times for work needed to be done. The last time was a few days ago when we need a kitchen faucet to be replaced. I personally went and purchased all the material and all they needed to do was change out the faucet as I a way to busy to do this myself. They went to the property and quoted $350 to change out a faucet... Which is RIDICULOUS... They're prices are always high but this last time really upset me as I know that this repair should not cost any more than $100 to 150, and it was only a 1 hour job. I called my regular plumber and he knocked it out for 100.00... I just wanted peope to be aware of their unreasonable pricing.. and hopefully they get the hint so they can be more competitiveness because this is what makes finding good and reasonable companies difficult.

Fixed clogged trap. In the process, loosened clamp on garbage disposal. The disposal started to leak. I called Roto-Rooter to come back and fix leak. They came back, but said disposal seal couldn't be repaired. A new disposal was needed at approx. $475.00. I declined and called another plumber that had installed my sink earlier in the year. They looked at the problem, reset the disposal clamp, and fixed the leak in 5 minutes or less. NO CHARGE!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!

After more than 2 hours of using a loud-sounding machine, the agent said the drain was "now working." Yet, after noticing that the drain was actually leaking onto my basement floor, a call to Roto-Rooter turned into a nightmare where the supervisor, a Mr. Chavez, never even returned my phone calls. A subsequent call to another plumber resulted in the repair of 3 broken drains... altogether I have spent over 600 dollars and I still need to have a basement wall plus part of the ceiling repaired. R-R never even bothered to call me back!

On Monday, my husband's shower sprung a leak behind the handle. I called Roto Rooter on Tuesday morning before 9:00 am. I was told that they would be at my home by 11:00. I was called and the time was moved to 1:00 pm. The technician called at 4:35 pm and told me he was a few minutes away. He was at my home approximately 15 minutes. He told me the leak would be time consuming and he would try to work me in on Wednesday after he gave Wal-mart a quote for a big quote.

Wednesday at 1:00 pm, he should up at gave me a $550.00 quote, and proceeded to punch 3 huge holes in my tiled shower wall. By the way, He made me go and by all the parts (219.00) at Lowes before he arrived, which means that the money was labor only for two hours work.

We were planting flowers in the flower beds next to the house when we dug into a pipe.It broke and started leaking water. After turning off the water I called two other plumbers, but no one was taking calls on Saturday afternoon, the day before Easter. I finally called Roto-Rooter because their ad said 24hr/7 day a week service. The plumber came out about 2 hours later and repaired the pipes. It turned out to be an old underground sprinkler system pipe we weren't aware of being there,as the front yard is rocked in. This is our second property at 8605 Darlina,79925 where my daughter is residing. I don't usually call Roto-Rooter as they are quite expensive,but I was grateful that they came out on short notice and repaired the pipe, so my daughter did not have to be without water all weekend.

I called this company because my commode was overflowing. They came out and used a small snake to unclog it and then claimed they had to come back at the tune of approximately another $75 on top of the $175 for that day with a longer snake. I told them it was to much I would deal with it as it was. I went on Angie's list 4 months later and found another plumber and quot;Smith Johnston's Casa Plumbingand quot; they came out first thing they removed my toilet and brought out a 2 foot horse tail root and discovered an ant farm under my commode fixed the problem for $183 dollars.

The company is very professional and will notify you by phone when the workers are on their way to your home. They have all the updated and latest equipment to get the job done. Very few plumbers have and quot;Hydro Jettingand quot; but Roto Rooter does have this service and have their and quot;camerasand quot; to show the customer where the problem is. They are expensive though.

It took him 7 hours to do a simple hot water heater installation.  The
hot water heater was still under warranty so I didn't have to pay for
that.  However he charged me $914 just for labor to install a new hot water heater. 
He stopped and visited with the other workers I had hired to work on my carpet in the other part of the house.
$914 for installing a hot water heater is insane.  I called several times to talk to the owner about the
insanely high bill and he never returned my calls.  The plumber never
gave me an estimate before beginning work.  These guys are very
unprofessional and saw me as an easy target so they charged me whatever
they wanted without telling me first.  I will never recommend these guys
to anyone, ever.

The service was really good. He even checked all of the line not just the one I told them to check.They even called before they come over so that I know they are coming. My neighbor from across the street hired them for the same job. They even sent me a $100 gift certificate should I ever need their services again.

They are very professional and they always call and say that they are on their way. I have never had a bad experience with Roto-Rooter. I think plumbing repairs are very expensive. I think it is good that they guarantee their work.

Showed up promptly. Came in took a look. Seemed surprise how easy of a job. Went to truck and sat there for 10 minute! Then comes back with a bill for $302!! Granted it was a Sunday and definitely understood the Surcharge of $40 dollars for the "Off- hour" service call. But that would of meant the difference of $282 for at best a 20 minute (Labor only) job!! Call to dispatch for explanation from a supervisor and come to find out the guy on site was the supervisor. It's criminal what this company os trying to get away with. Fired him and called an honest plumber who understands the meaning of repeat client.
