Quality Concrete & Landscape

I couldn't be more pleased with the job that Quality Concrete and Landscape did at my home. They transformed my whole yard! Not only did they do a spectacular job that looks amazing, they did it at a reasonable cost and they were on time with job completion. I couldn't be any happier!

Well. Came when they said finished sooner than estimated. Did not ask for money until finished.

I highly recommend QC & L! Mr. Akers and Mr. Serna and their crew are highly professional, punctual, and polite, and their work is amazing. Each job was completed in a week, and there was constant communication between us and the crew. Their attention to detail is commendable, and their prices are affordable. If you are looking for true quality, affordability, and care, I'd look no further - these gentlemen are the best in El Paso.

This was a large front yard with about 75% of it covered in new cement that included a large (RV sized) driveway and stamped walkways around everything. This was a 5 day job that they completed in 3, with no shortcuts! The designer worked with what I saw as my plan, and then worked that plan to fit my budget. The designer and the owner were there every day. The owner was also the foreman and he knew how to manage his team. They worked fast and efficiently. It turned out beautiful. I will use them again.

All work was done in two days. Work was clean and very organized. Job was done by numerous employees and each one new what their job was. Employees were very polite and courteous. I was informed of each one of the steps that was being done, which made me feel very comfortable. The company dealt with permits and inspections.  Mr. Akers is very knowledgeable of city codes.  I didn't have to worry about it.  When the last inspector came by, he informed me that the job was very well done.  I am very pleased. Several neighbors have come by to inquire the companies info.

They had a team of workers who were assinged jobs. The work was done efficiently and fast. I was asked to inspect the job prior to payment. I could not see a single thing wrog with the work. Along with being very efficient they were cpouteous and very neat.

The breakdown of the work was very detailed and spot on.

The quality of work is exceptional and I will recommend this company to friends and family.

I did pay extra going with this company. I did this because how I was treated and the courtesy that was forwarded me! All my questions were answered on the spot and I was not referred to anyone.

I put in my ideas and was impressed with the feedback. The crew also had ideas for the project. Great interaction! The project was a success.

It went GREAT!!!! HIghly recommend Quality Concrete and Landscape! Wanted to interview 4 contractors for my large project but Quality Concrete were the only ones who showed up on the same day I called to set up the interview. One contractor didn't bother to call back, and the other 2 were a no show. Quality Concrete and Landscape (Tim Akers) took the time to listen to all what I had wanted to do to my front and back yards, gave me recommendations, and gave me an estimate. Mr Tim Akers was honest enough to tell me their company was and quot;not the cheapest or the most expensive but our product quality is the best and we can get the job done in 4-5 days.and quot; Mr Tim Akers had a tablet to show me their other beautiful finished jobs and I was sold. They arrived early on the appointed day and got straight to work. All the labors were professional, polite, and constantly working. I noted that they would rotate their tasks when they showed fatigue....it was kinda cool. I never saw a laborer 'slack off' or be disrespectful. The owner of Quality Concrete and Landscape was also the 'foreman' of the job and showed up everyday and stayed all day to direct the work. They did a great job and finished my front and back yards in 4 days!!! Couldn't be more happier!!! I highly highly recommend this company!!!!

Extremely professional crew. Owner visited on site everyday and helped when needed. I am very happy with their work. I have recently rehired them for cement sidewalk install to be done in the near future. I would highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend this company. From initial contact to finished product was 2 weeks. I called and left a message with company about getting a quote to get my back yard finished. We moved into a new house where backyard landscaping was not done at all. We had the and quot;realand quot; desert landscaping. ***Just a note, I had called two other and quot;Aand quot; listers on Angie's List to get a quote and Quality Concrete was the only one to call me back. I had been referred to them by a neighbor and was impressed with the work that they did on their backyard.
I called and left and left a message which was returned within the hour. Tim scheduled to have the estimator come out during that week according to my work schedule. Claire was sweet and came to the house, did measurements, and drew out what we had in mind and also adding in her design ideas. This was on a Thursday and by Monday I had the scaled drawing and a detailed list estimate. We were unsure because of cost whether we just wanted plain concrete laid next to our existing patio or to do the stamped concrete overlay. So It was nice to see the price breakdown of each option we were considering....this also include a price breakdown of the labor cost, gravel, screening, and sod.
We were satisfied with cost and called Tim to have the contract drawn up. I was concerned at first about the contract because in some areas the details were a little vague and I did not want to get and quot;screwedand quot; in the end because of vague wording in a contract. I called Tim about my concerns and when he and Claire came to the house to go over the contract he had added in the details I was concerned about into the contract. Also at the time of the contract signing we were able to pick the colors of the concrete and the stamp design. We scheduled the job to be done the following week.
Thursday morning they should up with an Army of workers at 8 am on the dot and got to work. Mark was the foreman the whole time here for the project. These were an awesome group of hardworking guys. Shortly after they arrived we got a call to meet Claire and Javier at the Nursery where we picked out
our plants. Due note you do have to purchase your own plants and trees but they did get us a discount at the nursery and they do plant a certain amount of plants/trees as according to the contract. Javier and Claire were very knowledgeable about all the plants and trees letting us know which ones attract bugs, do good in the light we have in our backyard, and a slew of other great info....(FYI we wanted palms and had no idea they attract cockroaches:) We purchased our plants and they delivered them back to the house. Like I said these guys busted their butts. By day end, all plants were planted, gravel and screening laid, fill dirt in, and border concrete laid and our beautiful almost 550 sq ft patio concrete laid and stamped.
They returned again promptly on Friday morning to lay the sod, and clean and seal the concrete. They cleaned up all the mess that was maid from the dirt and gravel very good. You would never know there were piles of dirt in the street in front of the house.
I am more than completely satisfied with this company. A++++ in my mind. Like I said before, I had nothing to compare my price to as the other companies never contacted me back, but when talking to friend and other neighbors about work done on their yards, I'm happy with the cost I paid for the product I got in return. I highly recommend this company and will definitely hire them again for any future projects we have in mind.

The backyard was a mess, They cleaned it out dismantled and got rid of 3 metal sheds that were rotting. No floors were in there anymore. put in stamped cement, pergola, rock grass a sprinkler system and shrubs.
the front was manicured, rock was placed and cement slabs poured.
The job was completed on time in extreme heat. The quality of the cement used was very high quality. There was an accident on our street, 6 hours after the job was completed and only the slightest of scratches emerged from the cement.
When we had to take a family member who is wheelchair bound out, they moved the items in the way without any type of comments. They arrived on time when they said they would, and they were done when they promised to be.

They showed up on time with a large work crew, the owner, and the foreman. They addressed all my questions, and completed the job professionally, and on time. I only paid once the job was complete and done to my satisfaction. This is their standard policy. They were very professional, and I will be using them again for more concrete work, and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We hired QCL based on their quote for the job (it was mid-range of the four we got), and for Tim's professionalism and attention to detail. I could not have been happier. I was so impressed by how neat and efficient they were in completing all their work - they had our entire backyard landscaped in just 3 days! Either Tim or Mark were on site to supervise at all times, and their entire crew did a great job on our backyard. Tim's design came out exactly like we wanted, and everyone was very pleasant to deal with. They also came back out twice: once to address a concern we had with the sealant on our fire pit (they actually stripped it and re-did the work where it had bubbled slightly), and then to help my husband with a question regarding the irrigation system. Both times they were very prompt to come out and addressed the issue very professionally. I had a great experience with QCL and would happily recommend them.

The tree and sod were placed and rolled as stated by the contract. However, the sod in many places did not return to its original appearance in the spring as expected for a hybrid bermude. It was determined that the sod contained a large amount of rye grass. QCL failed in this instillation, as them being the installer and producing the end product, through not noticing the large amount of rye in the sod. They should have notified the customer and the sod farm immediately to assure a quality product as they were the most expensive quote received for this job, I expected the greatest quality.
QCL was contacted regarding this issue and confirmed the rye grass but when asked to asssit in confronting the sod farm with this issue Tim, the assistant manager, and Mark, QCL's owner, refused to participate in fear of having issues from the sod farm. Thus demonstrating that they do not stand by their promises of quality and their customers best interests.

They showed up on time for both the quote and on the scheduled work day. The old sidewalk was quickly demolished and the ground next to the driveway was leveled and framed. What actually took them the longest was removing the last few inches of tree root where I wanted the sidewalk extended to the curb. I had had the tree removed and the stump ground down but they needed to go lower to pour the four inches of concrete. They also removed and replaced the curb due to damage from my tree. This wasn't in the original quote but they did it anyway and charged exactly what had been quoted.
I was very impressed that the owner stayed on site for the entire job. His crew was very neat to the point that when the concrete truck came they placed some plastic on the street under the truck so that if any concrete spilled during the pour it would be easy to clean.They shoveled, swept and used a leaf blower to remove all debris and at the end of the job my yard was neater than when they started.
Their finisher was a true craftsman, when he was finished the entire pour was as smooth as glass. I was almost sad that they had to brush the concrete to create a non-slip surface but since my house sits on a slope safety came first.
I think my favorite part was at the end of the day when several of the crew members came up and thanked me for the opportunity to work at my house. I am definitely going to give this company excellent word of mouth reviews to anyone who asks about the job and I do plan to use them again within the next few months to landscape my front yard.

We were very satisfied with the work done by Quality Concrete. The crew arrived on time and worked diligently for two days. When we expressed concerns about the depth of the area where the concrete would be poured in this particular section of the driveway, we all discussed another possible solution to the problem. We decided that we would rather have the pipes underneath the driveway section raised, even though it would cost an additional sum. Part of the original problem was that our irrigation pipes had been lain extremely low by the builder of our home when the driveway was originally installed. Had the pipes been placed right beneath the concrete driveway and reinforced with concrete ten years ago, we would not have had the problem. The adjacent driveway made of chad would also have concrete sections with a depth of approx. 18 inches. Since we had our last irrigation on September 2, we will have to wait till next year to test the even flow of irrigation water, but my husband feels confident that the water will run smoothly from the front yard to the back yard.
Mr. Serna was courteous and professional. His complany did everything that was stipulated in the contract. We were very pleased with our experience. We certainly would recommend Quality Concrete.

Their work was high quality. The staff was very professional. The staff arrived on time and finished the job ahead of schedule. We are very satisified with their services.

The drip system for the plants leaked the first time I used it. It was repaired, but not too promptly. Another leak developed shortly thereafter and was repaired. The on off valve continued to leak and when I complained, I was told it was probably due to vandalism. They replaced the leaking valve, but the leaks resulted in my water bill more than doubling for July.Two of the lantana plants died and initialy Tim from QCL said that they wouldn't replace them, but eventually they did. Another of my existing plants died from constant watering. The workers cut my cable line and I was without internet for a week. Grass is already coming back in spots in the rock landscaping.
