David Hoover was highly recommended as a roofing contractor through a friend. David did not disappoint. He offered a competitive price and temporarily repaired the lifted roof shingles until he was able to reroof the whole house. He closely monitored the job site to ensure quality construction. David was quick to answer questions before, during, and after the new roof installation. He walked be through the progress until the job was complete. The work and service were exceptional.

Because I had a horrible experience with the last roofer I hired a year ago (never finished the job, causing multiple damages to interior of my home) I did plenty of research before I hired the next roofing company. Although David was recommended by a family friend I still got other quotes. His was a fair quote but, most importantly were his reviews. I read all of them. I decided to hire David primarily because of his reviews and because he also took the time to answer all of our questions, and concerns. His crew always arrived before 7, he was here daily, and kept me informed of solutions found for repairs. He was honest and did not have me spend more than needed. David and Crew EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS, EXCELLANT WORKMANSIP, professionalism from beginning to end. I would highly recommend

Perfectly! I completely trust Robert Phillips. He sticks with his quotes. He and his team are perfectionists. He offers ideas, such that the full burden of decision-making about everything was much easier for me. As a busy professional, I needed someone like him to work on my house. The service was very professional. It took a few weeks to start the repair because of other commitments. But once it was started it was completed fast and good. They were also clean, no trash was left behind.

I cannot say enough how highly I value this builder Robert Phillips. When I first called him to meet and talk about my project, he called me back immediately and showed up shortly thereafter to meet us. We discussed what we wanted to do with the bathroom and Robert offered me 3 different floor plans for the bathroom within a week or two. We decided on the plan we wanted. He set up a payment plan and the terms were clear cut in the contract we signed. We started the project about a month or two later as he had other projects, but we kept in touch during that time and planned the design aspects of the Bathroom. This was another great plus of Robert. He is a fabulous designer and I felt that he was able to see the finished project in design terms which was a great help. He went with us to look at and order vanities, mirrors, lighting, toilets, flooring, and showed us work he had done previously. This was so helpful as I chose what I wanted with his input but he never pushed me in any particular direction. He offered his opinions but never was he pushy. I don't think of design as my strong area so this was so helpful. Previous contractors have sent me out with a list of things to buy and Robert's way of doing design was so much more interactive. I always felt like it was a joint project and he took pride in doing a good design job as well. When the work began, it was very organized. His workers were great and very professional and easy to be around. Work began daily at 8 am and ended at 4:30. He always had one of his managers on the job site and they communicated with Robert. Robert checked the work frequently and if anything was wrong, it was done over right no matter how small the detail was. The work was organized very well - for example the demolition team came in on certain days, then the tile team, then the floor team, plumbing team, etc. It was all very well coordinated. I really think the whole project was a positive experience. In fact, as Robert was working I found more work for him to do in other rooms such as install some new lighting, electrical outlets, ac units and plumbing(re-route water drainage pipes to outside from water heaters) . His additional pricing was very fair and I was pleased with that work as well. Robert and his team does things well and I am very happy that I chose this contractor. Robert also went beyond what he needed to do. When we had a rain/hail storm in El Paso, he checked my roof to make sure there was no damage to it. Great customer service.

The best experience we have ever had with a contractor. Honest, dependable and committed to doing the job properly. Great employees, 1st class subs, an experienced foreman on the job at all times to coordinate and keep the job site clean. We probably could have hired someone for less money but the attention paid to all the little details was worth the money.

Best possible results. The crews spent 7 days on-site. Every crew member was an ambassador to the company; professional, hard working, punctual (started every day at 7am) and helpful. The end result is a masterfully installed roof that happens to have a transferable lifetime materials warranty from Boral and a 5 year workmanship warranty from David. It really turned out beautifully. We could not patch and repair the old roof because the clay roofing product is no longer manufactured. You do need to wait for David to schedule in your work. He has his own crews and does not used ad hoc workmen like many other roofers do, so, you will likely need to wait. We waited 4 and a half months. David's crew came right over and installed tarps at three leaking areas and the tarps held up during the wait. If you are using tile, I recommend what David suggested to us. Boral Mission S. This product line offers a transferable lifetime warranty, looks great - particularly when installed by David's crew - and offers a potential added benefit due to the installation system: - strip the old roof and tar layer - metal valleys are installed as needed - a rubberized/composite tar layer is installed over your stripped underlayment - wooden horizontal risers are installed on all sloped surfaces spaced to elevate the tiles above the composite layer. - protrusions through the roof (plumbing, heating, exhaust vents) are replaced and resealed - tiles are laid on top of the risers - a decorative pierced metal trim piece is applied at the eaves. The elevation of the tiles and the pierced trim piece allows air to enter at the eave, convect under the tiles and exit at the peaks, with some hope of convection ventilation under the tiles on hot days. - specialized singe-curve tiles are used to cap the peaks and trim out the gable ends. - color-matched cement is used to dress out the peaks and skylights. Our 2100sf house needed about 29 squares of Mission S and we saved 2 squares for future repairs/expansion. A very high recommendation.

Originally, I only hired them to replace the roof. I was impressed with the employees, their professionalism and the overall job that they did. So impressed that I also hired them to repaint my entire house and do some other needed repairs. I will hire them again should the need arise. I highly recommend this company.

Exceptionally well. I have dealt with construction companies who either steal my money or give me bad workmanship. This company was top of the line in every way. They know their jobs. My neighbors wish they would have hired Phillips/Hoover Roofing and Construction because of the quality of work and materials. They left my yard clean after every work day. Strongly recommend them! Plus they charge you upfront fees or for materials.

Phillips-Hoover do wonderful work. The roof was completed in 1 1/2 days. Debris was thoroughly cleaned-up prior to the crew leaving. Mr. Hoover provided photo updates when additional repair work was required (e.g. duct riser), and explained all components of the work.

I would highly recommend this company. We had shingle damage to our home two weeks ago from the monster wind storm. David came out and inspected our roof and gave a estimate in a reasonable amount of time,considering their workload. Their primary interest was customer satisfaction, and they really look out for the customer's best interest. They repaired our roof in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again.

Work was completed within 48 hours. Mr. Hoover and his crew identified several additional repairs that needed to be done. For the work that his company was unable to do, he brought in a certified electrician to ensure completion according to code.
