Perfect Stroke Painting

First of all, Armando gave me a last minute quote one evening when another painter didn't show up. He squeezed our work in between other commitments, which was nice because we had other work scheduled after the painting, so the timing was important! Armando was punctual and professional, which is too rare here! His crew was also professional. He always left the work area clean and went above and beyond by cleaning the tall windows outside when the job was done! He also charged a fair price and always showed up when he said he would and would contact me if anything would change. I will be calling Armando and Perfect Stroke Painting to paint the exterior of the house next.

This was by far the worst experience I have encountered! I hired an out of town business to replace my roof before and I thought that went way smoother and better quality of work than this business. He prides on his over 20 years of experience and how he dedicates himself to fixing houses. However with the quality of work he did here, I wouldn't want anything to do with any house he worked on. He left my work 70% completed. First and foremost the roof. He worked on this while I was at work. If it wasn't for my neighbor calling and letting me know that they were not replacing the lining, I'm not sure he would have replaced it. I had to call and let him know to do it. His excuse was that it was NOT damaged. I'm sorry but if your being paid to replace a roof, you REPLACE the roof, with the proper material. As mentioned I was not home so there is no way I can verify. Then when the roof was replaced, I arrived to find a line on the edge of the roof replaced with a different color of shingles. When I called to ask about it, he mentioned it was that color because that was what was available. There was no communication about this to me, I made him replace that to match the entire roof. Now the metal trim was not placed correctly. It stuck out and was not replaced the color it was before, it was a metal color. I had to ask him to make sure it was placed correctly because it was sticking outward, not against the wood as it should be. He fixed the ones I found, but some in the backyard were still left upward and not against the roof. It doesn't look professionally installed. The garage door lining was also replaced, but the color white not the brown color it originally was. However now my garage door does not close completely to the floor. It stays open about half an inch. I have to physically walk to my garage door and push it down to close. The garage roof had some damaged done due to a storm and this man decided to scrape the popcorn from my roof and repatch rather than inspecting the damage. The patching is bumpy and you can see the lining they used. This was one of the jobs he left undone. Now when it came to the guest bathroom, this man was only going to replace the drywall without adjusting the handle as requested. I had to stop him before he completed it so he can correct the job. He painted the master bedroom but did not complete the edge painting so you can see the stroke of the roll he used. He also moved my bed (again with no communication) and moved it back however he did not check the rails at the bottom. They were not placed correctly and at 2 am my husband and I fell to the floor. The rails bent in a V shape. In the master bathroom he only repatched the damaged wall, took off the bottom trim and left it undone. He did not complete the job and only offered a $500 credit. I did not want to pay him the remaining amount until someone finished the job he left undone. If the amount of my rails and completing the work was at $500, I had no problem paying him. Instead this man threatened to put a lien on my home, and charge me extra for the additional services that were agreed upon at the time of the first consultation I felt as though he attempted to cut corners anywhere he could and that left me incredibly uncomfortable. I still gave him the benefit of the doubt to complete the job but instead he just quit and demanded the money and for me to be satisfied with his $500 credit offering. It caused me more headaches looking for other contractors to complete the job he was contracted for. Not to mention, I have yet to replace my rails on my bed. I don't care how great the price was, this man is not worth the quality of work he provided. For Angie's List to have him listed is insulting.

Armando did an outstanding job on all fronts. He assisted in selected the main and accent colors, advised me on what type of paint would hold up best, focused on the details such as painting the scuppers and cleaning up and painting the outside lights, and many other things. He and his crew were at the house when they said they would be there, and he kept his promises throughout the entire process. He did a great job for a fair price. I highly recommend him for any paint job, inside or out. All contractors should work with their customers like Armando does.

I wouldn't attack any home projects without them.

Armando and his crew were punctual and worked very efficiently.  Armando helped me with the color selection.  He explained everything he was doing and I fell he is an honest business man.  

Outstanding- responsive and excellent work- we are very pleased - area had previously been wallpapered. When we removed paper discovered that wall had not been prepared properly and huge issues with drywall and patching.  Armando came in and leveled walls and textured- we were able to prime and paint within 24 hours- matched texture to adjacent walls- exceptional work- thank you

First off, let me start by saying I am pretty picky customer.  It takes a lot to impress me, and Armando and his crew have gone above and beyond even my highest expectations.  Armando is always a phone call away.  He was at the house everyday supervising and working.  I added on some items and work that weren't on the original estimate and Armando was accommodating to all requests.  Outstanding work all around with great attention to detail.  They left my house cleaner than when they started.  Can't recommend them enough, and will be using them for all future projects.

They did a really good job. I bought the paint myself and he showed me what he used and what was left. He was easy to work with and did anything I asked.
