A few months ago I called him again requesting an estimate on installing a washer and dryer in my older home, and he acted offended, basically telling me that I was taking advantage of him for asking his opinion as to where the two units should go. He said I should have told him exactly where I wanted the units and then he would have given me a price. Seeming as though I'm not a plumber, however, that request seemed ludicrous. I wanted him to use his expertise to give me his best advice. I was fully planning on using him, but after having gotten a lecture from him about all the time he was wasting by looking around my house, I decided to never call him again. If you can put up with all of his eccentricities, he's do a great job, but don't ever request an estimate. The first time he comes to your house, he'll want to start work that day.

It was Memorial Day and my usual plumber was closed, so I figured I would go down the list and give O'Hagan a try since it's in my neighborhood.  A copper pipe had burst in my basement over the weekend and parts of the basement were an ankle deep in water, so this wasn't something I wanted to wait on.  Mr. O'Hagan answered right away, and although he is a little eccentric and overly talkative, he had his worker at my house within 30 minutes despite being technically closed as well.
It only took Cruz about an hour to remove the damaged length of pipe and replace it, and he showed me exactly what caused the leak in the first place.  The repair cost was right on point with what I was expecting, and considering it was a holiday weekend, I would have gladly paid double due to the emergent need of the repairs.  
I'm glad to know I can count on another plumber should I ever need one again.

Mr. OHagan sent one of his plumbers to our house within 20 minutes of our call on a holiday weekend. Mr. OHagan also came out to make sure everything was done correctly. We had no water and we were desperate especially on a holiday weekend when plumbers and their suppliers are closed. Mr. OHagan and Cruz worked professionally in repairing everything that needed to be repaired. We were very pleased with the cost, considering our emergency and the time and worrk involved. I highly recommend Mr. O'Hagan.

Cruz showed up on time and dug the hole and replaced the pipe as told above.  Mr. Ohagan came over to check the job and he sat down with me while Cruz was cleaning up.  He talked a lot, I finally asked him how much I owed him and he said $300.00.  I about dropped my teeth and said the job wasn't even worth $100.00 and that I should have gotten a quote from him before I hired him to do the job.   He proceeded to tell me all the hardships of being a business owner which is not my fault nor did I care.  We split the difference and settled on $200.00.  I am satisfied with the job Cruz did but not with Ohagan.

2-10-2016-- the fix above blew out on this day and come to find out it was partially caused by the PVC pipe they used for repair.  For some reason there was a saw slash in the piece that was glued to the ell where the pipe burst.

I hired O'Hagan because I had a water leak on the outside of my house. They responded quickly and didnt take long to come and assess the problem. They replaced a pressure relief valve. However, it began to leak again the next day. After two attempts the valve was fixed at no extra cost.

he came on super bowl sunday. He also brought a lady friend with her kid going out to lunch after my job. He did the work and charged me $300 and left. The price was reasonable at best being that it was on a sunday afternoon. I thought the price was too high for what he did but can't complain since he did come out on a sunday afternoon when no one else even called me back from messages that I left on their voice mail. Well toay (tuesday) i noticed the new water supply valve was leaking so called him and he will be coming out to make things right. We will see.

Mr.  OHagan showed up about an hour after my first call and completed the work in less than an hour.  He was very courteous and explained all the work that needed to be done.

We talked on the phone to get an idea of the work needed, it was slow for him due to holidays.  Worker arrived quick but did not speak much english and waited for the owner to arrive to look at the work involved.  We were going over an inspection list of items I was asked to fix that the buyer requested.  Mr. Ohagan was looking at all other things as well and had to explain to him several times those items were not requested to be fixed.  There were some plumbing issues with the water heater and furnace that did not meet code that he was trying to talk me into fixing.  I had to make sure he stayed focused with me as we reviewed the items I needed fixed, this took some time and the clock started when the worker arrived.  With Angies list discount the cost is $85 per hour and it was about 45 minutes to review everything before the actual work started.  The worker began fixing the plumbing and electrical, I supplied all the parts except for the 2" PVC conduit.  Even though the worker did not speak any english he did work on everything. I felt I needed to make sure my presence was known so the work was being done quickly since the labor was billed by the hours.  When the worker was ready to disconnect the power to the house he had to wait for Mr Ohagan to bring the conduit and elbow....which is time I am being billed for. The total hours I was billed for was 7.5 hours which included the time to review the items I needed fixed and his time to buy the conduit.  I was in a time crunch and was glad he did show up on time and was able to get things fixed when I needed them done.....that is why I was a little relaxed on the idle time I paid for.  I think for anyone that is going to use Ohagan I would recommend him, be quick about the over view of the work needed and avoid discussions going a stray.  Also I think he needs to have employees that can communicate in english for customers like myself that don't speak spanish.  Communication is important and also costly.

I called he gave me a time, he was running late so he called to let me know instead of having me wait around.  He gave estimate, I asked when he could do the job he said now and got right on it.

We had a pressure valve that was cracked. Mr O'Hagan came and replaced the unit. So happy that he had the parts so we didn't have to wait.  The work was done and they added extra insulation to an adjacent pipe with no charge. We would definitely hire again.

He came, he fixed it, he left.

We discovered that we had a leaking pipe on Thanksgiving. My husband couldn't repair it, so I called OHagan's on Friday morning. They were there within an hour, and quickly found and replaced the pipe. I was very pleased with the service, and would definitely call them again. These guys are awesome!

The assistant performed the work in a professional manner, but when I checked later, some of the parts I had just recently installed (handle cover and tub spout) were missing. (In all fairness, the spout I had would not work with the new shower fixture, so it would have had to been replaced, but I could have used it for the other shower.) When I called to let them know that the parts were missing, Mr. O'Hagan said he would see if they had them, but he never called back.
The shower is still working perfectly though.

Overall it was a very good experience--as good as any fix-it job can be.  I called them and they were here within an hour.  They had another job they were working on so they returned in the afternoon, got right to work and even fixed a problem I didn't know I had with the valves under the kitchen sink.  They cleaned up all the mess and took the old parts with them--after checking to make sure I didn't want them.

He took the old water heater that was only three years old back to the store where we bought it. I didn’t have any of the sales slips but he exchanged it.  He did all the hassle to get us a new one at no cost.  He was fast and the people that work with him are very professional and they did a good job.  They were efficient, they got it done, and they didn’t leave a big mess.  It was really no bother at all.

Excellent job by Mr. O'Hagan and his workmen.  They finished the job before the weekend, which was important to us.
