Mesa Veterinary Clinic

Veterinarians, Animal Burial/Cremation, Animal Boarding Kennels,

About us

Mesa Veterinary Clinic and Paws N' Hooves Mobile Veterinary Services is comprised of two small animal clinics- a fixed base clinic in West El Paso and a mobile veterinary clinic rotating to different parts of the city- in addition to our mobile large animal services. Whichever clinic best serves your needs, it is our dedicated mission to provide your pets with the quality medical care that they deserve. At the Mesa Veterinary Clinic, we'd prefer that you have an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. Walk-in patients may have to wait a few minutes before they can be seen. At Paws N' Hooves Mobile Veterinary Services, all patients are seen on a walk-in basis. If you live in El Paso or the surrounding area in TX, then you have picked the perfect place. Our Doctors are licensed veterinarians and are experienced in treating all types of pets and animals. Your pet's health and well-being is very important to us and we will take every step to give your pet the best possible care. Mesa Veterinary Clinic and Paws N' Hooves Mobile Vet Clinic is a full service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting his or her own El Paso veterinarian.

Just moved to the area and brought my dog who has seizures and even though he had blood work by his previous vet, within in the month, wanted to do blood work again and when I asked to have his medicine called into a closer pharmacy they refused. Very disorganized. I was in the office and already had checked in and the office called me saying I was a no-show for my appointment. Front desk employees are very rude.
Response from Mesa Veterinary Clinic
"Thank you {Member name removed} for the feedback. While it was painful to read, it certainly brings clarity to the area in which we need to focus our next training efforts."

An agency in El Paso operates a feral cat neutering program, wherein vets are paid a token sum to do the procedure. We had accumulated several cats in our back yard. We tried a couple of vets but we didn't feel comfortable with them. Then we tried Dr. Gee. What a difference. His office staff is polite and friendly. They are obviously professionals. The clinic itself is clean and neat and is without those strong animal smells you sometimes get. Dr. Gee is also obviously a professional. What impressed us the most was that Dr. Gee appears to treat feral cats, who represent negative income, with the same compassion and professionalism as you would expect for a beloved pet. For example, he gives the feral cats extra pain killers after the procedure. He didn't give us any "hassle" about the number of cats we were bringing in. In one two-week period, Dr. Gee did 10 procedures. The only cost to us for any of this was the cost of gas to transport the cats. Dr. Gee is a good vet.
