I'm giving them 2 stars to be fair because they sent a technician to my house the same day I requested the service. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. I received three different quotes ranging from $400 to $900, which I approved. However, the next morning, they called me with a new quote of $2,300. I did not approve this because another company did the same work for $900 in 2024. A few days later, they charged me over $900 for partial work that was done. Customer service promised to review the situation with a supervisor, but they never called me back after getting paid for work I didn?t authorize and that was incomplete.

Beware of this company, they are shady -they will do the cheapest job possible, screw you over, leave you with so many poorly done things, dangerous, they almost caused our house to burn down. We tried to take them to Small Claims Court but as you know El Paso is shady, and this is a big company here that can buy anyone- so you won’t get anywhere besides loosing money! Trust me, there are better and more ethical companies that operate safely and contract out licensed personnel. We had people in our home that were licensed in Mexico, we had many unlicensed people doing our HVAC and electrical upgrade and now we have a super dangerous and scary situation that we have to pay even more money to fix.

My air conditioner brought down on 6/26 even though I had maintenance contract with another company and was serviced in April of 2019. I was Scrole cage was broken by the other company. Mechanical technologies repairman that Scrole cage and motor needed repair(motor was leaking) and this should have caught if true service maintenance was done. In addition some the previous company customers were changing to mechanical technologies. The repairman was very knowledgeable and answer an additional question about installing air in my garage that previous company could not answer. My air conditioner was fixed in one hour since being out on a Wednesday to Saturday. I change to Mechanical Technologies maintenance plan. My dogs and I are grateful for cool air.

All the workers were excellent, professional, hard-working, on-time, and very nice. They didn't take breaks, cleaned up after each segment of the conversion. You would not know they had worked on the home. The salesman and workers explained everything to us.

Salesperson recommended that we place our unit on the roof our home. This turned out to be very noise, so we asked for them to move the AC unit to the floor beside the home. One week later, they agreed to move the unit at a cost to us for a crane rental. Then we didn't agree with the electrical line placement on the roof where workers can step on electrical lines. They agreed to move the lines. Then we had asked for the thermostat to be placed on the 2nd floor of our home, it was placed in the wrong place (1st floor). We called to have the service re-done, they reinstalled and moved the unit to the floor on Sept. 17th.... However, electrical wiring was never completed -- we have scheduled 3 appointments with the electrician -- Oct. 8, 18th and 22.... the electrician is nowhere to be found... always at another job site.

It was real good. I've had them come down and they've been responsive quite a bit.

My husband and I are very happy with the service we received from Mechanical Technologies. Mr. Abraham was amazing, he was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He's a good guy! I did my research before jumping in to purchasing a new AC unit. I read the previous review but I can honestly say I am 100% happy with my choice.  The price offered was the most reasonable and the service and quality received was worth every penny.  The job was done quickly, and efficiently. All the guys worked hard and professionally.  I would definitely recommend their services to all my friends and family. Thanks to Mr. Luis Flores (Crane Operator), Mr. Lorenzo Garcia and Diego Garcia (Equipment Installation), Mr. Felipe Martinez and Rogelio Garcia (Electricians), Mr. Jorge and Irvin (Duct Cleaning and Aero Sealing Team).  The whole team did an excellent job.

I COULD NOT READ THE ID NUMBER ON THE ON THE OUT SIDE COND TO REG IT I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD REG  IT I HAVENT HERD FROM THEM AFTER THEY WERE PAID.

They were very difficult to get a hold of and appointments were missed. I believe there was miscommunication about the price and they left behind their trash. On the positive note, they did end up apologizing and they gave me a gift for some future service.

This company would charge us for hours the service techs were not at the units. We would have to call back to the office and "discuss" the charge. Luckily each truck has a GPS and most of the time they would change the hours charged. They would bill for parts they would not replace. Small repairs always turned into huge invoices. They would quote you a few minor items that were wrong with the peice of equipment, but by the end of the repair the price had tripled.The final issue with us was a walk in cooler in one of our units. It had been down over two weeks, we were having to store products at another unit and run back and forth, all while they were trying to figure out what was wrong with this unit. They were called to the unit the day it went it down. Finally, they decided it needed a whole new condenser and some other parts---over $5200 just for these parts (this does not include the time and parts they had already racked up over the last two weeks!).I called another company Gonzalez in for a second opinion----$632 fixed it in two days. $632 was the total for everything.I have not used them since, nor do I ever plan to.

I chose them after visiting a trade show at the Convention Center and after I went through various consumer reports.  I even went through their equipment and finally made a choice and called them.  They are excellent and warranty their work.  I am very happy with everything they have done.  If anything goes wrong they will be at my place immediately.  Their price is less than what it is to call any plumber in for maintenance on the furnace.  They are not the cheapest and not the most expensive but have a good solid reputation.  They give me the best rate which I will not get from anybody else.  I liked the fact that they are a local licensed company.  The people who come to my place always call by cell phone before they come over and are always courteous, quick, respectful and do a thorough job.  They inform me about everything they have found and show me the filter. They back up what they say to make their warranties good.  I would use them again in the future.

The installation team arrived on time and procedded to remove and install the new equipment.  The personnel were friendly and responsive to answering questions.  They worked at a steady pace.  The major flaw was the cleaniing of the duct work----it was not completed and still has not been finished (almost a month later).  The work was being done on a Friday and the duct cleaners seem "eager" to leave rather than finish the work.  Responsiveness from the supervisor has been positive and the work is scheduled to be completed within the nex few days.  Overall, it has bee a positive experience espcially the assitance of the supervisor.

They are one of the most reliable companies in El Paso. This was the second time that I had used them. About six years ago they put in a new furnace. We conducted the whole business through phone with Mr. Rodriguez that provided csutomer service with us. He went above and beyond and even FedExed the information to us. He trusted me to pay him and did the work prior to payment. Their price was reasonable and their service was good. They were out of here quickly!

The installers were very professional, did very good to excellent work. So far the systems are performing very well.
The only negative experience was that the sales team did not recognize the need to replace the propane line with a larger line. The company did replaced the line and did not charge me for the additional expenses, at least not so far.

Their price was too high. It was a pretty good experience. I had them hired them for the job and with the negotiation thing I made them remove and replace all duct work and they did that. The guy that was doing the work said that they didn’t replace one and I said I didn’t care except the part that was difficult. I have used them in the past they ripped out my swamp cooler and put air-conditioning. They are reliable. I would recommend them to anybody. I am pleased with them. Originally when I had the swamp cooler removed, I had several contractors come and talk to us and they were the only ones among seven companies that came out and first talked common sense to me. They didn’t act as though I was just a dumb house owner and I didn’t know anything about what they were doing. There was one occasion that I even fired one of the gentlemen out of my house. The guy that came out he prophesied that they needed our business and also that they wanted us to be satisfied. That was all through all their pages. Some of the other guys that came out told that they would come out do it in an attitude. They came on the spot on time.

I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They didn’t do what they said they would do. It was terrible. They said that they would charge $2000 more for some additional work and they didn’t do that. I called them five times after that and they didn’t answer my call. Then they came in after few days and they tried to fix it but couldn’t fix it. I would not use them again at all.

I have worked with them several times.  They were very friendly.  When there were problems, they responded immediately.  Money was never an issue.  They just did the work and billed me.  They are a first-class company.  You can't go wrong with them.  They will answer any questions.  The supervisors come immediately.  They fix the problem.
