The roof was leaking from multiple spots almost immediately < 6 months.  He spray painted old pipes that he was supposed to replace hoping we wouldnt notice.  His structural changes do not blend into the home.  His electrician left untapped live wires in an electrical box that was opened up later to connect a stove.  Only thing this guy did well was the paint job.
 
This contractor falsified documents, lied about inspections, and did a really bad job overall.
A six week reno turned into six months and now I am having to deal with his bond company. 
I had three of his subcontractors show up at my door because they could not get a hold of him for payment.  I had to pay one out of my pocket to avoid a lein on my home.
His crew left hazards all over my yard, did not clean up after themselves unless I complained multiple times, and used and broke many of our tools.  Some tools went missing all together.  The contractor never even apologized for any of these issues.
