This company was excellent. They were always punctual and completed the project earlier than we anticipated. They were in constant communication with us during the entire project.

The estimator was very professional and punctual. He took his time and was careful to explain the process to me. I received the quote and was shocked at how high the estimate was. Nearly double the cost of the other contractors I contacted.

Thoroughly professional services; team is punctual and friendly. Explained reasons why certain features may not be right for our yard and proposed alternatives. Workmanship is excellent. It was/is a joy to interact with Mr. Serna and his team - we will be asking for their services again should the need arise. It is VERY difficult to find trustworthy services in this category in El Paso; I am still amazed that Landscape & Concrete Impressions was/is as professional as the experience has turned out.

Patrick did the estimate and he was very friendly, very helpful and intelligent. We received 4-5 bids and Patrick was the only one that listened to what we wanted and had good suggestions. He took measurements and drew a diagram of what the finished product would look like. The price seemed reasonable but our decision to hire them was based heavily on the work that Patrick did. The day the work started we were impressed by how quickly the work was getting done. Everything seemed prefect until my wife and I had a couple conversations with Chris (the owner) that raised a few red flags. Chris complained to my wife and then later to me about how the job was under bid. He said he was using more material than was quoted and he also mentioned that he had to do some work that was not included in the bid. Almost every conversation we had after that included a reference to him losing money. It turned out that Chris actually put rock in a section of the yard that was not on the bid or contract. It probably was best for the area to be covered with rock, but he should have talked to us before doing it. We could have even adjusted the contract and paid for it so we could have avoided all the abrasive conversations that resulted from it. There was a large area in the front of the yard that was supposed to be rocked that he missed and when I contacted him about it, he threatened that if he came out and measured everything they did we would end up owing him money. I told him to come out, by all means and lets get it straightened out. He then sent me a text to let me know that Patrick was going to come out and work things out with me. I could not believe that Chris could be in business for very long with the attitude that he had taken toward me when I had done nothing wrong, so I asked Patrick why Chris was so hostile toward me. Patrick indicated that it was a personal problem that unfortunately got transferred over into our professional agreement. Patrick was very understanding toward us and toward Chris and he said he would make everything right. He finished filling in the rock that was missing along with one other thing that was missed. The job overall was done very well. The quality was above average. I think if Chris had been able to visit the job site prior to beginning work and before signing the final contract the errors and abrasive conversations would have been averted. I would recommend having this company bid your job but I would be cautious to make sure the job is clearly understood before beginning work.

I felt confident with the company right from the quote, other companies quotes were inconsistent and vague compared to L&CI, their quote was very detailed; they expressed great knowledge of the work, and concern for proper water drainage.  Chris was constantly present during work, and had control over all aspects of the project.  He was in constant contact with me to discuss anything that came up during the work, and to ensure we were in the same page as far as design.  They brought their own porta-john, and cleaned up every day before leaving.
Multiple persons have stopped by after the work to compliment us on how beautiful it looks, and to inquire about the contractor details; I had to ask Chris for more business cards to give out.
In my opinion Landscape & Concrete Impressions is the best in their field in El Paso.

Very professional. The work is top no issues. Everything was done how the contractor promised. My wife is not easy to impress and she was totally satisfied. I was very happy and will continue to use and recommend.

Chris the owner, is professional however he tried to force us into certain color selections.  We had to be forcefull to insure that we got what we really wanted.
His strength is really the concrete portion, and not the landscaping.  My wife and I ended up redoing his landscaping proposal by spending an afternoon at the local nursery.  In addition the sprinklers that he installed were not the proper type for the application, we ended up having to hire someone else to change out the sprinkler heads.
However, after all was said and done we are very happy with the end product and have received numerous compliments on the work that Chris performed.

They have a good crew. They were very professional. We had a little conflict about some different changes which they took care of. We settled that. Other than that, they cleaned up good. They made sure all the sprinklers worked good after they tore up the stuff. We were happy. Their price was competitive. Once they started, the finished the job.

Initially I got an estimate from Chris in October 2012. I decided to use him because I had several estimates and I felt that his work was the best and I liked the fact that he was listed in the Better Business Bureau and is licensed and bonded. The completion took about 2 weeks and everything went well.  Chris was always available if I had any questions on the work. I definitely would recommend this company for anyone that needs landscaping work done.

Whole experience was very good.  I first placed the call for an estimate.  Patrick, the estimator, contacted me the same day I put in the call.  He come to the residence the following day  I had a design for the backyard done by my son.  Patrick was very attentive to my design, needs, and budget.  He responded quickly with a very professional design outlining the cost item by item.  This allowed me to know what I could afford and the cost.  After getting a few more quotes, I choose Landscape and Concrete Impressions due to the communication I had with Patrick - his responsiveness and attentiveness to understand what I wanted.  The price was in the ballpark with the other estimates and I felt comfortable with the company.  A contract was given, detailing all work to be done, price and schedule.  Work started on time and completed on time.  Chris Serna, the owner, showed up on time the day of the job.  He brought a large crew.  Work was done quickly and well supervised by Chris.  All my wants were done to my satisfaction and the job looks great.   It is the prettiest concrete I have ever seen.  

We ultimately did not end up going with this company for our landscaping needs (we went with a slightly lower estimate but this company was priced right and competitively), but Mr. Serna was nice enough to come out to our house and provide us with an estimate.  He also provided us with some of his ideas on what he thought could be done to our backyard.  He was professional and courteous.  He also provided us with a second estimate, which was more tailored and specific upon our request.  He was great at communication, both phone and email.

This was an absolutely amazing experience.  Everything was done remotely seeing I travel a lot and don't really live in the city of El Paso.  Chris did everything by email and worked with me on designing a front yard.  I didn't even know I had drainage problems and Chris actually took the time to make sure the landscaping was artistic yet functional.  The yard needed to be easy to maintain and affordable.  Chris worked very fast.  I had my yard designed and completed within a two week period for the front yard.  The back yard took more work because it had to encompass a ridiculously giant trampoline.  Once again Chris designed a back yard that was kid, dog and family friendly.  Yet the whole thing was low maintenance.  I finally met Chris when the back yard was landscaped but he worked with my tight schedule and completed an entire back yard in two days.  It was done so fast and so professional.  I wish I could find other contractors who were willing to use technology to get the job done so efficiently.  I would definitely recommend this company.

I started the work but quality wasn't up to standards.  I needed something done fast because of Thanksgiving company.   I pulled Chris' company off Angie's list, and emailed him.  Chris was very kind about the work I had done but it really had to be undone, and the entire job done right. 
I only had a rough idea of what I wanted.  Chris' website allowed me to chose a finish, color, and design, and with Chris' input the finished product looks great.  Very substantial also.  Build to last.
I could not have asked for a better experience.  And best of all, my wife was happy!! 

We have used Landscape and Concrete Impressions once before to completely redo our front yard (curbs, stamped concrete patio, grey concrete parking pad and gravel driveway). We called Chris and set up and appointment for him to give us a quote on this project in the back yard. Chris showed up on time and gave us a quote on the spot. My wife and I briefly discussed the quote and accepted it the that day.
Chris and his crew showed up the following week, on time, and started the work. Once all the forms were set he gave us a call at work to come by the house and review the locations of the forms to give us the opportunity to make any last minute changes. That afternoon the concrete was poured and the next day they returned to stain and seal the new concrete.
Chris provided us with a short but fair contract that clearly addressed both parties' responsibilities. As set out in the contract, half the payment was made at the end of the first workday (not up front) with the remainder due after the project was complete and accepted.
The work in the backyard matches the older work in the front yard and my wife and I are very pleased with the result. We will be using Chris' company again for future projects,
