John and his son Joe performed a house inspection for me on a property I was interested in buying. Their experience was invaluable at discovering many "below-the-surface" issues that were unseen during our viewings of the home. Their service was absolutely essential to negotiating repairs on the home prior to closing.

Showed up on time. Inspection lasted a little over 2 hours and was pretty thourouh as needed to be for a house this old. Showed me several items that I had not seen which led to seller fixing several items. Report included pictures. Price was pretty good.

He gave me good advice for resolving a problem with my plumbing.

He was very detailed and reasonably priced. He also had the inspection report prepared the same day the inspection was covered.

He was fine and he did a good job. I actually knew them personally because his son had been one of my students so we were tied up on those terms and I thought he did a fine job. It was pretty much the going rate for an inspection. It was pretty much by the books and I don't even think I was there when he did that. He just went in, did the inspection and gave me the report. It was all done in a timely manner and it was accurate. He gave me the information I needed. I had nothing to complain about. I will probably get him again if I needed to. I think that's a pretty standard price on that but he was right on the money.

John Coppinger Inspector and General Handymen did a good job. He did that and that was it. It wasn't really big but he did the job and he was reasonable. I have a disabled son and I needed a hinge to put like a cement going into the garage. The hinge going to the garage door cracked. It also cracked in the front porch. He had an elderly man and a son to do it. They used a mixture of concrete. I wanted him to be able to get to the front porch. He did reimburse me for that. He said that he was sorry. He apologized. The ones that I've had other than that had done fine.

Called to get a plaster ceiling repair and the and quot;handymanand quot; came out. Seemed relatively competent when doing the estimate, but never came to actually do the work. What a joke. Don't waste your time. The home inspection service might be good, but i would steer clear of the handyman service.

John Coppinger is a licensed home inspector for Texas real estate commission. I use him once or twice a year. I have used him off and on for maybe 5 years. He is very good. I like him because he is very efficient, he knows what he is doing and he is very competent and he shows up on time. I am a real estate agent, so when people want an inspection, I recommend him and they have been very pleased with him. He has never done any repair work for me, I have only used him for inspection. His charges are competitive. I will always use him in the future.

John did not provide the services BUT he did recommend his sons to do the work.Bad idea. His sons did sub-par work and I tried to rectify it with them. However, I am seeking legal action against them now do to their lack of responsibility and workmanship.

I had a very good experience. They were prompt. They were here the same day. Everything was taken care of thirty-six hours after my call. They are excellent.

They did a standard inspection. They gave the report in writing and pictures, so I knew what I was getting. He was pretty thorough.

Mr. Coppinger did perform a so called, "complete Home Inspection". But, he had failed to include several important issues that had altered our decision making in purchasing the home. His failure had also cost us money. Issues that could have possiblly been covered by the bank. After settlement on the home we discovered many other issues that were not on the Home Inspection. Issues that were dicovered and discussed John Coppinger were simply NOT on his report. As we know, these reports are viewed by the bank and the customer in decision making and for financial insight John Coppinger is not a professional or thorough at his profession.

I have always had a good experience with him. He has been doing that service for us for 3 years now.

It went well overall. John was recommended by my realtor. I used him for a previous inspection for a purchase that fell through. I liked him so well that I used him again. He was very punctual and very thorough. He took pictures of damaged areas or areas that were of concern. He spoke with me personally and answered my questions. He created and provided a written report, with pictures within 24 hours.

Courteous, knowledgeable and helpful service. Asked them to check miscellaneous items around the house. They were honest when the job was too big for them to do and recommended other companies that could help us.
